<Kagi>
Once we made it to a private room, our spy came sprinting by with a first-aid and apologized once again.

"Sir, you're too kind. Thank you." I said to Mr. J as he disinfected my minor cuts on my leg while deciding what to do about the wound where the shard of glass was embedded.

"How do you know my uncle?" I wondered.

"Ah, that fine man? Well, we run somewhat of a business together as partners. He and I go way back." The man explained.

I could see his diamond blue eyes just from a slight view. He then looked up and caught me staring and leaned in.

"Yes?"

"Oh, sorry." I apologized. "I didn't mean to stare." I diverted my gaze as he gently tended to my wound.

"It was a joke." He slightly chuckled, "when was the last time a pretty lady like yourself apologized for nothing?" He cracked up and it wasn't long before he finished up and noticed the faded scars on my upper legs.

"What are these?" He raised a brow.

I quickly moved my legs out of sigh to hide them. The wine must of washed away the makeup.

"I-it's nothing." I shyly spoke.

He stood silently and sighed, "such a brave woman. Did they hurt?" He wondered.

"...I don't remember." I replied.

"Well. If you don't mind. I'll get going first." Mr. J awkwardly cough and walked past me. Before I let him open the door, I grabbed his blazer.

"W-wait..." My voice trembled, "d-don't go."

"Huh?" He turned back around, "what's-"

My hand was already in the ruffles of the dress and I pulled out a pistol. I can't let him leave here alive.

BANG

"Hey, hey. That's dangerous." The man's eyes stabbed into me and threw me down by pinning me on the ground. My gun was out of my reach and he wrapped his hand around my neck.

"Tsk. I knew that there was something funny about this, you bitch."

I tried so hard to gasp for my breath but he tightening his hold. I couldn't breathe.

"What a waste, a girl like you." The man took his hand and stroked it along my thighs and even farther up. Caressing my scars.
It would be a lie if I said it didn't trigger horrible memories. Don't touch me there!

He leaned down and pressed his dry lips on mine while I resisted his touch. He inched back and I could see that mischievous smile of his when I tried to use Karasuma's maneuver technique to get out of his hold.

"..."

"Huh? You say something?" The man leaned in very close trying to block me from freeing myself.

He tightened his grip again and I struggled even harder. More painful. There was a slip in my breath that made my heart race and then it was gone.

<Sarumi>
I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw Mr. J walking out of the room where he went with Kagi. His hair parted differently, more messy than the last time I saw him. I surge of panic got me worked up and I looked around for Kagi.

Mr. J took out his phone and looked like he was rushing in urgency. Then, he met up with Mr. R, who was surrounded by women around his age, I have to follow them before they leave.

Please be okay, Kagi.

COUGH, COUGH

"I've really done it now." I sat up straight and breathed in slowly and exhaled. With my hand, I gently glided my fingers across my neck as it throbbed.

I glanced around and my gun was gone.
Why didn't he kill me?

<Sarumi>
When push comes to shove, you have to take matters into your own hand. Even though I didn't want to leave Kagi like that wherever it was our job to see continue.

I followed both men out into the courtyard and I saw some of our men, not at their designated posts.

"You must be Uncles's friends, why the sudden rush to leave?" I said aloud, "must you get going this early? Why not share a glass with me." I walked towards them. They looked calm but their eyes were filled with bloodlust.

"Unfortunately, we must get going." Mr. R glared at me, "unless you have a problem with that?" He had his hands in his pockets.

"Don't waste your time here." Mr. J said to him. "If you don't hurry, someone will die."

Kagi

My emotions got the best of me and I punched Mr. R in the face, dragging his body down to the ground. As I was about to sweep Mr. J's leg, there was a clicking sound and noticed Kagi's pistol in his hands.

"Move one inch and I'll your shoot your brains out." The man spoke in English.

"I guess I missed all the fun." I heard Kagi's voice from behind meand I couldn't help but to want to look around.

"If you move, I'll shoot!" He warned again.

"Sarumi! Look at me!" Her calling melted against the fear of dying. I wouldn't mind if she was the last sight I saw before I died. When I clocked my head back, her expression was murderously cold.

Kagi was unarmed.

BANG

Kagi walk by me with a light tap on the shoulder as continued to challenge the man. "Hey, shoot again." She mocked him.

"You bitch!" He pulled the gun to my head and pulled the trigger again. No blood and no bullets.

All of a sudden, Mr. J began to sway from side to side until he collapsed onto his knees.

<Kagi>
You've been bitten by a snake, I sadistically glanced at the man on his knees.

"How does it feel to have poison running through your veins?" I asked him as his breathing was harsher than before.

"It was from that time wasn't it?" His eyes began to droop while he tried his best to get back up.

"Can you feel it? The burning sensation?"

"Kagi." Sarumi called my name and I turned to see Mr. R knocked out by Sarumi's right hand punch. A deadly one you could say.

"I-I thought I killed you." Mr. J barked with the little life he had left.

"I don't go down that easily." I grinned, "you could of been a little more gentle you know."

"Y-you..." Mr. J grabbed his own throat and leaned forward and gasped for his last breath.

THUD

"Ah, what a rush." I laughed slowly and gazed at Sarumi with his concerned eyes locked on mine.

My body felt empty like there was no weight to keep me anchored. Then my vision blurred and I reached out for him but my body gave.

"K-kagi!"
