Will He Accept Me?

I was lying on my bed and the only thing I could think of was Zayn. When I pulled back, I couldn't look at his face because I was looking down. I didn't know what he was feeling. I turned over and my fave was in the pillow. I started crying my eyes out. What did I just do? I screamed into the pillow.

'Perrie? Baby are you alright?' Selena asked. I didn't reply. 'I'm coming in sweetheart,' she said. I didn't have the energy to stop her.

'Darling, is something wrong? You haven't been out of the room since the time you came back. Oh and Chelsea told me that you fell off the pyramid. Are you ok? Does your body hurt?' she asked concerned.

I sat up and turned to her. 'I'm fine 'Selena,' said. 'No you're not. I might not be your biological mom but I know when my daughter is having problems. And I know your having boy problems because when I was your age, I was also crying and screaming into the pillow when I had boy problems. It's ok to tell me,' she said with an assuring smile.

I looked at her. She was my stepmom and she had been very understanding. I didn't even call her mom and yet she called me her daughter. I think it was time I opened up.

'Selena, 5 boys came to school today. They were transfer students from UK. And I volunteered to show them around and there was this guy. His name was Zayn and I really really liked him. He was so adorable and I was like attracted to him. During lunch, Chelsea messaged me and said that we had urgent practice. So I went and the boys came with me. I wanted to impress Zayn so bad. So I started practice with a pyramid even before warm up. Then I lost my balance and fell when I was on top. And then I don't know what happened but Zayn said that he had brought me to his house because I was unconscious. And then his face was in front of mine and I just kissed him! I don't know what I was thinking! Then I just ran out. My car is still at school too. Please help me Selena! I don't know what to do!' I sobbed.

Selena listened to me patiently and when I was done, she hugged me.

'Baby, it's ok. Don't cry. It's ok. I can see it in your eyes. You really really like him. And it wasn't wrong to kiss him like that because that's your feeling. Tomorrow, go to school and ask him what he felt. If he says he needs time, give it to him. Ok baby. Stay strong,' she said stroking my hair.

She stood up kissed my forehead and left. Before she went out of the room I said,'I love you mom.' Her face lit up.

'I love you to darling.'
