*At the end of school the next day*

I was so excited! Just a few more seconds till the end of school. I felt like I was in High School Musical(HSM)and was waiting for Summer and I was counting down. The only difference I felt was that when the bell rung in HSM, they all sang, but I wasn't going to do that.

'5,4,3,2,1!'

'Hell yeah!'

I grabbed my bag and stood up enthusiastically.

'Shall we my love?' Louis asked with a wide grin on his face.

'Yes we shall me lord,' I mimicked his tone.

We linked out arms and ran out of class without even thanking the teacher. We were going to take Louis's car to the cafe. He had picked me up in the morning because he thought it wasn't safe for me to walk alone.

He opened the door for me and I got in

happily. Then he got into the driver's seat and started the car.

'I didn't get a chance to compliment your outfit. You look amazing love,' he said.

I was flattered.

'Awww. Aren't you the sweetest little thing? Anyway, thank you,' I replied blushing.

I was wearing black high (waisted) shorts, a white tuck in mustache top and black high-cut sneakers.

'Your shirt makes your abs look so untouchable you know that?' I said with a cheeky smile.

'Abs? Aren't you a sweet talker?' he said sarcastically. We both (burst) out laughing.

'You know I think your a really great guy. Your nice, your sweet, your funny, your cool and on top of all of that, your good-looking,' I said with a smirk.

'Thank you love. If Zayn doesn't want you, he's a whole load of crap then,' he said laughing.

Zayn. I tried so hard to not think of him. And there comes his name. I wasn't mad at Louis, couldn't be. And the weird thing was that, the whole day, he didn't make any attempt to talk to me. He barely even looked at me. Maybe he really didn't like me. I brushed that thought off. Louis took notice of my silence.

'Sorry love, I didn't mean to remind you of him. Pardon me,' he said sadly.

'It's ok. It's not wrong to talk about your best friend,' I said smiling slightly.

I decided it was best to change the subject.

'So how's life in UK? And what made you want to study in Australia?' I asked.

'UK is really nice actually. And it was quite sad that we had to leave. The main reason was because we had been friends since forever and we wanted to have some adventure. Oh, and we also wanted to get away from our parents' nagging for awhile. It was quite hard for us to persuade our parents. But we somehow managed to. Zayn even wrote a song for his parents,' he said laughing.

'That's really cool,' I replied. Zayn again. This time I decided to act normal so Louis wouldn't get hurt.

After that, he asked me some casual questions and I answered them. Within 10 minutes, we were there. It seemed like every other cafe in town. Except, I had never been here.

'Why is it called 'Music Cafe'?' I asked Louis.

'Well, if you want to sing a song on stage, you can. Just like that. Oh and it's quite new. So, I don't think you'd have been here,' he said smiling.

'You got that right,' I replied.

The cafe was beautiful. There were musical notes everywhere. I loved music. It was a huge part of my life. But I didn't tell anyone. I was too shy. There was only one person who knew. My mom. We used to sing together every night. I remember when I was little, she used to sing me to sleep. I felt tears welling in my eyes.
