How Could You Do This To Me?

'Give me ten minutes Chels. I'll be back,' I said to Chelsea.

'Ok babe!' she shouted back.

I ran up the stairs to the 3rd level and opened their door. They didn't mind me just walking in. So, well yeah. When I opened the door, there stood Zayn. Kissing another girl.

'Zayn!' I screamed. 

Oh my god. My heart. Hurt.

They pulled back and Zayn looked at me in shock. The girl blinked in confusion. Betrayal. 

Tears were threatening to pour out. But I held back. I was not going to let him see me cry, not even when my entire chest was constricted, when I couldn't breathe. He walked towards me. Confusion.

'Perrie, I can explain,' he said as he stretched his hand out to touch my cheek. His eyes which used to look warm and comforting now had a sheen of guilt. Fear.

'Don't you dare touch me!' I cut him off,eyes blazing,slapping his hand away. Anger.

I turned back and ran all the way down. I could hear him shout my name. 

I pulled the door open and slammed it behind me.

'Chelsea go!' I shouted.

'What happened Perrie?' she asked with concern. 

'Just go!' I screamed.

'Go Chelsea,' Beth said softly.

I couldn't take it. My heart was hammering in my chest and it was going to rip its way through my body any time soon. I couldn't focus. All those kisses, those shared words. EVERYTHING. Why did he do this to me, hurt me intentionally. I didn't understand.  And that's when I broke down. All the things we had. It was fake. Everything! All a lie! How could he do this to me? He said he'd never let me go. But... I knew when he lied. I could see it in his eyes. How could I have trusted him? Tears came down like a waterfall as my heart broke. I cried not because I pitied myself but our relationship. Our relationship was simply ripped apart by a kiss.

With the wrong girl.

What did I do wrong to deserve this? 

'He cheated on me. He cheated on me Beth! How could he?' I asked sobbing.

'Oh my god! That bastard! If I get a half of him, I would really rip his head off! Hey, don't you dare waste your tears on that stupid cheat. You deserve so much better,' Beth said hugging me tightly. 

'Yeah Perrie! He will never get a better girl than you! It's his loss,' Chelsea said.

I swallowed back the lump in my throat.

'You're right,' I said, rubbing away the tears with the back of my hand.

I put head against the window and stared into the sky. Everything he said to me before. Lies.

'I'd never let anything happen to you. You know that right?' 

'I do. And I know you know I won't leave you either.'

What he said, he never meant it. 

'Perrie, we're here,' Beth said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

'Thanks guys. If he talks to you tomorrow, don't say anything please. Just ignore him,' I replied.

'Yeah. We will. Take care,' Chelsea said.

I walked into the house and read the note that was stuck to the fridge.

~Hey sweetheart. Hope you enjoyed your stay at Chelsea's place. Dad and I had to go to Singapore urgently for work. Sorry for not telling you. We'll be back next Monday. I've told Jake. Love you sweety.~
