Chapter 15

My wolf whimpered and I could feel my eyes begin to water. I blinked the tears away as fast as I could and shoved Luke away from me. I stormed over to his door as he tried to grab me.

"Leave me the fuck alone." And with that I slammed the door shut behind me. I took a deep breath and went into my dorm. It looked like no one was home to I quickly went into my room and locked the door. I collapsed on my bed and finally let myself break down. Tears cascaded down my face as my wolf began to whine. I curled up into a ball, clutching my pillow until I eventually fell asleep.

I awoke to cold breath breathing down my neck and I freaked out which resulted in me landing on the floor with a thump. A chuckle filled my ears, followed by a yawn. I peeked my head up to see Max sprawled out on my bed, smiling at me. I let the breath out I was holding and let myself calm down before turning back to him.

"What are you doing here? I locked the door! How did you even get in?!" He laughed as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. 

"Umm... You know I can just kinda go wherever I want, right?" Weird. I nodded and climbed back into the bed. Max wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to his chest. I cuddled closer and sighed before falling back to sleep. 

I woke up to an empty bed and furrowed my eyebrows together. Maybe it was a dream? I shrugged before stretching out and wiping my eyes. Someone clearing their throat kept me from falling back asleep. I opened one eye to see Max standing over me with a smirk on his face. 

"You really don't look to great in the morning."

"Thanks Max. That means a lot." He shrugged before straddling me and kissing my lips. It was only a quick peck, but left me wanting more. I smiled at him before shoving him off me and watching as he hit the other side of the bed. A look of mock hurt crossed his face before he pecked my cheek and pulled me close to him.

"So what's wrong sunshine?"

"Nothing."

"Don't try to lie to me Aria." I sighed and mumbled what happened under my breath while hiding my face in his chest. 

"He cheated?" I nodded and sighed. He hissed and my eyes widened. I suppose that was something I was going to need to get use to. 

"It's fine Max don't worry about it. It just sorta made things clearer I guess."

"Like?"

"Like how anyone can break your heart and you just need to be careful."

"I would never do that to you babe. I may be from Hell, but I love you more than anything else in the world. Even more than Heaven. I've been there so it's the truth."

I couldn't help but giggle a little and he kissed the top of my head. After a few minutes, I pulled away and pecked his lips before crawling out of bed. Someone began knocking on my door and before I knew it Kellan burst into the room. I looked at my bed and Max was gone. Weird. Kellan looked upset and sat down on the edge of my bed while running a hand through his hair. I sighed and sat next to him, already knowing what this was about.

"You can't stay mad at her."

"But she was suppose to wait for me! I-I waited for her." 

"Look Kellan, most people don't wait for their mates anymore. I didn't."

"YOU SLEPT WITH SOMEONE BEFORE ME?!"

"Oh....  Uh yeah... I guess. I couldn't believe what Kat was telling me at first. You've always been such a player."

"Yeah and I did a lot of stuff. But I never had sex. I wanted to save it, but looking back at it now I guess it was kinda dumb. I guess now it just kinda bugs me cuz she's already gonna know and I'm not. You know?"

"Yeah I get it. I'm sorry Kell, but I think you really just need to talk to her about it." He nodded sadly before leaving my room and closing my door. I turned around and Max was back on my bed. 

"You know, I'm beginning to think you're not even real and only a figure of my imagination." 

"Nah babe. You wouldn't be able to imagine someone this hot." I rolled my eyes as he smirked at me. 

"Don't you have a class to teach?"

"Trying to get rid of me already? And to answer your question yes I do. But! Not until later so until then i'm all yours."

"Lucky me."

"Look sunshine, I know you're depressed and all, but you're harshing my vibe." I groaned and jumped on top of him. I kissed across his jawline before slowly putting my lips against his. The sparks were amazing and everything just felt perfect. His lips moved against mine in sync and a low moan came from the back of his throat. I smiled against his lips as I began to move my hips against his boner that was slowing getting bigger. My hands wandered down his chest to his stomach, to the button on his jeans. I growled when I heard my phone going off. 

I rolled off of Max and picked up my phone that was sitting on my bed side.

"Aria! Ar baby I'm sorry! Let me explain, please. Just five minutes. I ca-" I hung up and dropped it on the floor before crawling back over to Max and resting my head on his chest. Honestly, I wasn't able to deal with anything else going on in my life. I just needed some peace and quiet. Max kept drawing patterns on my back as my eye lids began to droop. Sleep seemed like the perfect answer.

I wasn't gonna post this today because I feel like I might be updating toooo much! Haha but anyways I decided to because Im hoping you guys want to continue reading the story! I love you guys and thank you for all the support that you've given me! I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
