How did you find me

Previously: Jesse almost instantly froze the moment the footsteps entered the clearing. It was the boy with the grey shirt and blonde hair.

   They stood there, waiting... Nothing moved, nothing dared to blink. The only noise was the labored breathing of jesse as his heart raced. Hesitanly the boy took a step forward, jesse took a step back. The boy knew his friends were out in the forest looking for jesse, but he didnt yell out to them. He took another step forward, this time he tried to verbally confront jesse "I'm lukas, by the way." lukas paused "we never really got to be formally introduced." jesse took a small step forward, but night stayed close. Lukas continued "its just... Your a legend, no one knew you actually existed... Well, the old lady did, that's besides the point. What I'm trying to say is that, that back there was a lot to take in, you shouldn't have run away like that." jesse lowered his head, lukas was right. How could he have been so stupid and reckless back there! Showing off Your powers to complete strangers and letting them follow you into Your home. Jesse turned around to face night who nudged Jesse's cheek assuring him it would be ok. Behind him lukas was watching the scene, he felt bad for jesse and took a few steps forward. Night growled at him as he got closer, but jesse quieted the sleek Dragon. "Your right" jesse strained out, lukas was baffled and leaned back "w-what do you mean?" jesse turned around to face lukas, his cheeks stained with tears. Jesse looked up at lukas "you were right, I should have never done what I did back there." he drooped his head down and turned back to night. Lukas stepped forward, but jesse shot him a look "jesse I'm sorry, but-" lukas never got to finish his scentence as a pericing scream echoed through the forest. Jesse clamped his hands over his ears, as did night. Jesse withered and fell off his Dragon holding his ears tight as the screaming increased. Lukas had his hands over his ears, but searched for where the sound was coming from. He looked in all directions until he saw jesse, curled in on himself, holding his ears, and crying. He rushed over the the legend boy "jesse?" his call went unnoticed "jesse!?" he tried again, louder this time. Jesse struggled, but managed to lift his tear stained face off the ground. Just then, the screaming died down and lukas removed his hands from his ears. Jesse still had his hands clamped over his ears and his eyes squezed shut. Lukas took a glance at Jesse's Dragon and noticed that it was only shaking its head. Lukas shook jesse as the screaming slowed to a stop. Jesse cautiously took his hands off his ears and uncurled himself, staring up at lukas. "I-i-i-im s-s-sorry" jesse stamered to lukas. He nearly punched jesse, but he only nodded and took a step back. Jesse tried to get up, but only fell back down in pain. He tried again, and this time lukas caught him and helped him to his Dragon. Jesse was vilontly shaking in nights saddle and hugged nights neck tight, afraid he might fall. Night cooed softly, trying to remind jesse. Jesse looked over to lukas, who was scanning the tree line searching for where the scream came from. "L-lukas..." jesse barley managed out, lukas turned to jesse and looked him over. Jesse was slumped over in the saddle hugging the dragons neck, overal he looked sick, but he was fine just moments before... The screaming.  Why did that cause him so much pain? To Lukas it only sounded like a high pitch girl scream, yeah it was loud but not that loud. Why was he so sensitive to that? Lukas was brought out of his thoughts as he heard a small wimper come from jesse. He went over to him, but his Dragon growled at him. Jesse tried to calm him, but his soft spoken words had no effect. Lukas backed off, getting the idea that now was the time to leave. As lukas walked away to the edge of the clearing, he heard a loud thump. He spun around to see that jesse had fallen off his dragon, he seemed to be trying to get up using his Dragon for support. Lukas ran forward, never before had he cared so much about a stranger that he just met. He came to jesse and helped him up, jesse said something but lukas could only hear soft whispers. When jesse was finally up on his Dragon again he tapped him, the Dragon turned to jesse. "I- it's ok, he's ok... Don't worry... Let h-him help." jesse squeaked out. He seemed to be losing his voice somehow, lukas knew it wasn't from just the scream. The scream! How could he be so stupid, he knew that voice, it was petra! They were in trouble! Lukas got on the Dragon behind jesse and held onto the saddle. "Jesse we need to head west, that was where the scream came from, one of my friends is in trouble!" lukas blurted out, he shouldn't have said all that but looking to jesse all he did was nod. "Hold on tight" jesse croaked out, and he squeezed his legs into nights side and they took off.

Well... That didn't rlly end how I wanted it to, but whatever. Sorry for the slow updates, but a lot has been going on lately. Can't rlly keep up with everything. So what do u guys think? It rlly just popped into my head. Comment what you think should happen next!
