Huntik City Training Grounds

A few minutes since the lady's voice appeared in Armino's and Rowan's Heads

Date Unknown

Time is still irrelevant

Armino's POV

"I heard it," Rowan said with his eyes looking at the ground. As if he was ashamed. I walked up to Rowan measuring my steps carefully. I saw him stiffen as I got closer. When I reached him, I said

"Why are you so ashamed? You did nothing wrong." He looked at me and I swear, He looked like a child after his mom had just taken care of a scraped knee or elbow. His eyes wet with unshed tears, His gray-blue softening and it looked like he was was saying "Thank you, No one ever has said that to me before." After just a moment the walls were back up and it was if he never wanted anyone that he was hurting inside. Just like me all those years ago I thought to myself. I shook the memories away, and asked

"Rowan, The voice said you know where to go...?"

"Hang on," Lance interrupted "Armino is not going anywhere without me." He tried to look defiant against his Rowan. He neglected that he turned his back to the real enemy. Within a few moments, he somehow found himself, knocked out, gagged and tied upside down in the storage closet. I have no idea how he got there. With Mr.Mcmuffin preoccupied, I turned to Rowan and asked,

"So, where are we going?" Rowan just looked at me stunned. With his eyes wide and jaw dropped.

"Hay Rowan," He didn't respond.

"Rowan!" Still nothing.

"Hay, Rowan wake up" with that I clapped my hands in front of his face. He snapped out of his trace and took a few quick steps back into the doorframe.

"Ow!" he said loudly rubbing his head, glaring at me.

" I was trying to get your attention and if that didn't work, I was going to resort to using powers," I said

"I guess tapping me on the shoulder didn't cross your mind" He gruffly replied.

"So where are we going?" I asked again. He looked down as if he regretted the answer. He slowly got up and brushed himself off.

"Follow me," he said as he turned away and walked out of the training ground and into the unknown.

Train ride to Vlad Dracul's castle

March 23

Time is still pretty much irrelevant

Zhalia POV

We were almost to Vlad Dracul's castle. Lok was giving the details of the mission to us, but I wasn't really listening. I was thinking of Dante. (No surprise there) I know he has been having a lot of nightmares lately. He's also been distant. Like when he looked at the calendar or when he told us about visiting his family. It wasn't a lie, but he looked sad when he said it. Come on Zhalia, I thought to myself. You're clever, figure it out. Dante has never mentioned his family. Definitely suspicious. He is sad when talking about his family. Maybe they shunned him for some reason. Unlikely Dante wouldn't go to see them if they shunned him. Abused him? I dismissed that one too. He wouldn't visit if they abused him and he didn't have any symptoms of abuse. Dead. Realization crashed down like a landslide. That's why he didn't want us to come Because we would ask questions about them. Questions he didn't want to answer. Suddenly the train lurched forward, bringing me out of my thoughts ruffly. Chatter broke out in the compartment. Suddenly there was banging on the door of the compartment. After the fifth bang, the door flew off of its hinges and crashed on the other end of the compartment. Three men walked into the compartment. The men must have been triplets because they looked identical. They had blond hair cut military style and had the build of a football (American) player.
