Chapter Four

Mullen Pov

"Seriously, Harry are you nuts?" I asked. He looked at me, wide-eyes "no, why?" He screeched "because, you're acting like it, your management would never let you do that!" I said. He sighed "I know, I'm just tired of hiding all the fucking time! I mean, why should you have to hide someone you love?" He asked and I shook my head "I don't know Haz" I said, I somewhat feel what he's feeling, because my impending crush on my sisters boyfriend. That could be a tv show drama. That's our lives.

"So, how'd your sister react when she found you and Ed in bed? Oh hey that rhymed!" Harry said "hey, okay we weren't in bed we were just...sleeping. It was harmless" I said and he nodded "for now" he said and I rolled my eyes. "He's my sisters boyfriend! I'm not going to sleep with him" I seethed. "I know, I know but you love him or your falling in love with him" he said and I shook my head "I'm not falling in love, maybe a small crush" I said "yeah a small crush that could turn into love" he pointed out. I shook my head, looking out into the road, watching the cars try and swerve around each other to get home from the long day of work.

I sighed "Harry" I looked at him "I don't wanna fall in love, I can't fall in love with him" I said "why not?" He asked "remember the last person I was in love with?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. He nodded "yeah, but Ed is different from Derek. He's sweet, Derek was a piece of shit and we all knew it" Harry said, I nodded "but still, I'm scared" I said. I groaned in frustration "this shouldn't even be happening! He's my sisters boyfriend!" I yelled. Harry chuckled "well, he won't be forever" he said "maybe he will be, maybe their meant to be?" I said, Harry shook his head "doubt it" he said.

We walked for a while longer until we reached my apartment "you coming up?" I asked him "yeah, sure why not" he said. I smiled and opened the door, the warmth hitting my face immediately. I smiled as I looked back to Harry "its so warm in here" he whispered as we walked by the cranky ass doorman. "Morning Allen, how are ya?" Harry asked, holding up his hand for a high five. I chuckled as Allen rolled his eyes "hello Mr.Styles, Miss Adams" he said, sighing.

"Hey Allen, Harry leave him alone" I said, pulling Harry's sleeve. "What is it with you? You always pick on Allen, no wonder why he's so bitter" I giggled. He laughed "no, I pick on him because he's bitter" Harry laughed. I nodded "he's a good man, means well" I said and Harry chuckled "okay" he said as we reached my door. I checked to see if it was unlocked and it was. I furrowed my eyebrows "Kara's at work, or she should be" I said and Harry raised his eyebrows "then why is it unlocked?" He asked and I shrugged "I don't know" I said, walking in.

Ed was sitting on the couch watching the Letterman's show. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked him, he looked up and smiled at me "I'm waiting for your sister to get home" he said "oh" I nodded and took my coat off, throwing it on the couch. Harry followed my actions and threw his coat next to mine. "Want some tea?" I asked Harry "hells yeah" he said, I laughed.

We went to the kitchen and grabbed the kettle, we put the water on and let it sit. "Are you okay? You seemed a little funny seeing Ed there" he said and I shook my head "what? I'm fine, just didn't expect him to be here is all" I said. "I'm going to ask him if he wants any tea" I said, walking back to the living room.

"Hey do you want some tea? Harry and I are making some." I asked "sure" he said, getting up and following me to the kitchen. He sat next to Harry on a barstool "hey mate" Ed said, Harry looked over to him "hey mate, how's it going?" Harry asked, Ed shrugged "it's going" he chuckled.

We had tea and then Harry had to leave because he had a photo shoot in the morning. "Alright, just you and I now" Ed said, pounding the counter with the palms of his hands. I nodded, picking up all the empty cups we left sitting out. "Whatcha wanna do?" He asked "umm we could...watch a movie?" I said "sure why not" he said, shrugging.

"Okay, so what do you wanna watch?" I asked, taking out a selection of movies that I liked. He sat down next to me and looked at them in my hands. "Mhmm, you like this one?" He asked, pointing to one of the James Bond movies "oh hells yeah" I said waving the movie in my hands "wanna watch it?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows, because seriously, James Bond is hot. He chuckled and nodded "yeah, its been a while since I've actually watched one" he said "cool" I got up and put the dvd in the player.

We watched three movies before Kara got home. "Hey babe- Mullen? What are you doing home?" She asked "um...I don't know?" I asked, Ed chuckled "I mean I thought you were going to stay with Harry?" She asked, sounding kinda bitchy. I rolled my eyes "nope, not tonight" I said getting up off the couch "wait, where are you going?" Ed asked, grabbing my wrist. I looked at him then looked at Kara, who's eyes were trained on me. "Uh" I looked back down at Ed "Kara's here now, you don't need me" I smiled, he furrowed his eyebrows "what?" He asked "well, I've gotta call Harry so, I'll see you two later" I said, even though I'm not really calling Harry.

I walked to my room, I fell onto my bed "ug, I've gotta get my shit together" I groaned. My phone buzzed, I looked at the screen 'Brennan' I closed my eyes, not in the mood to talk to him right now. It buzzed again. I groaned, grabbing it

'Hey we need to talk'

'Like really, answer me!'

'Whats wrong?' I asked

'Did dad call you?!'  He asked

'No, did he call you?' I asked

'Yes, he's coming to town'
