Mullen pov

Three years later...

"Kage, don't do that to daddy" I laughed as the child hit his chest again, pretty hard. Ed made a noise between and groan and a laugh, making his son laugh, hitting him yet again. "Oh god Kage you're going to kill me" Ed mumbled, catching his hand before it hit his chest for the fourth time.

I smiled, sitting on the couch, watching the boys play on the floor. "You just gonna sit and watch this-this...parent abuse?" Ed asked me, smiling playfully, I shrugged "I don't know, he looks like he's having a good time, who am I to stop him?" I asked, Ed laughed, looking over at his son, his ginger hair matched his dads, but he got my light green eyes. "Fine" Ed said, running his hand through Kage's hair "don't do that daddy!" He yelled, Ed put his hands up in surrender "sorry, sorry" he said, laying back on the ground, Kage laughed "I was only kidding" he said in a strong British accent, even though he had some American, from me, he still got the cute accent.

Ed smiled at him, looking up at me "you can't tell me you don't want another baby" he said, getting up to come sit on the couch with me as Kage went off to his room to play. "I never said I didn't want another one, I just said I wasn't ready" I said, raising my eyebrow at him, he sighed "well...when will you be?" He asked "soon" I whispered "promise" I said, leaning down to kiss him as he laid his head on my lap. "He's getting way to big" I said, watching our son run around the living room "yeah, he is" Ed sighed, I intertwined our hands and rested them on top of his chest. I looked down at his face, his eyes were following every movement our son made, as if he would fall and get hurt.

"You know it wouldn't be such a bad thing to have another baby..." I said, his head shot up "really?" He asked smiling, eyes shining. I nodded "yes...really" I said, he laughed "awesome" I shook my head at him, looking back up at Kage "mummy, I'm thirsty" he whined "I'll get it bud" Ed said, getting up. Kage smiled "okay daddy" he followed Ed to the kitchen.

"Harry called, he wants to know if we would like to come have dinner with him and the boys?" I asked Ed, walking into the bathroom, he was getting out of the shower "yeah, sure, when?" He asked "around 6ish?" I asked, he nodded "okay, what are you doing?" He asked, looking over my shoulder. I covered what he was trying to see "no, you can't look" I said "it's a birthday present" he narrowed his eyes "did you come in here just to taunt me with it then?" He asked, I raised my eyebrows "why would I do that?" I asked, he laughed "rude" I laughed as I made my way out of the bathroom and back downstairs to see what Kage was doing.

"You know you're a bully" Ed said coming into the room "yeah mummy, you're a bully!" Kage yelled. I sighed "see what you've started?" I asked him, he laughed "watch out, maybe I won't give it to you at all" I said, pointedly. He bit his lip "oh really?" He asked, coming closer, I nodded, trying to keep my cool, because he knew what that did to me. "Yeah?" He asked "Ed don't" I warned "don't what?" He asked, wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to his body, I could smell his body wash and the mint of his breath. He lowered his head to my neck and kissed it "I love you" he whispered "love you too, now let go before we do something we're not supposed to, in front of him" I said pointing to Kage sitting in the corner.

Ed laughed "don't you find it funny how he sits in the corner?" He asked, I nodded "it's funny" Kage looked up and saw us watching him "what?" He asked "nothing babe, just keep doing what you're doing" I said, smiling at him. "I can't believe he's already three" Ed said, resting his chin on my shoulder "I know" I agreed.

"I should go get ready" I said, turning around to kiss him quick before running upstairs to get ready.

"Are you ready?" Ed asked, picking Kage up, I nodded "yeah, lets go" I said "alright" Ed said, following me out the door.

"Hey!" Harry said, hugging me "hey Ed. Kage" he said, pinching one of Kage's cheeks "no, uncle Harry. Don't" he whined "he likes the word don't, just a warning" Ed said, setting Kage on the ground. He immediately ran for Niall, the fun uncle.

"Thanks, Kage, really" Louis said, he was sitting there with his arms open, waiting for a hug. Kage ran right past him. I laughed "he'll come crawling back, Louis, don't worry" I said, taking Ed's hand, we went to sit in the living room with everyone else. Kage ran up to Ed, asking for him to pick him up.

"So why'd you call up all over anyways?" I asked, letting Kage play with my fingers "well, I decided to come out" Harry said, our eyes widened "and I wanted all my closest friends to be here with me when I did" Harry said. "Aww Haz, we're here for you. All of us" Liam said, he all nodded in agreement "are you sure about this though?" I asked, he nodded "very sure" he said "alright, then do it" I smiled at him.

Later that night, Ed and I went home.

"God, I'm so tired its not even funny" I said, flopping down on the couch. Ed nodded, smiling "yeah, I'm gonna go lay him down quick" he said, gesturing to the sleeping boy in his arms "okay" I smiled, watching Ed walk down the hall to Kage's room.

When he can back, he fell down on the couch next to me " 'm so tired" he said, laying his head on my lap, closing is eyes. I sighed, running my hand through his hair "I know, me too" I whispered. He opened his eyes to look up at me, I bit my lip "okay...I have to tell you something" I said, he raised his eyebrows "okay?" I took a deep breath "I want to get married" I said, he smiled "really?" He asked, I nodded.

When Ed and I had Kage, we agreed not to rush into getting married, so he told me to tell him when I was ready, then he'd propose out of nowhere.

I was finally ready.

He was still looking up at me, his eyes twinkling "I love you so much" he whispered bringing his head up to kiss me "I love you too" I said, kissing him again.

We both sat up as Kage started to cry "not again" Ed groaned "he's been a brat all night" I said, getting up and making my way to his room, Ed following.

"Hey baby, shh" I whispered, he looked up at me and whined "why are you crying?" I asked, he shrugged, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. "Do you want daddy to sing to you?" I asked, looking up at Ed, he nodded, looking down at Kage, who nodded too.

Ed sat down in bed next to me and sang to him until he was asleep.

"I still don't get how you do that" I said, shutting Kage's door, carefully so it wouldn't wake him up. Ed shrugged "me either, it just happens" he laughed.

"I think I'm gonna go to bed, coming?" I asked him, he nodded "yeah, I'll be right up" he said, I nodded running upstairs to bed.

Ed came up a few minutes later, looking exhausted. He flopped down next to me in bed.

I laughed, watching him try to get comfortable, once he did he looked up at me "are we gonna cuddle, or what?" He asked, I nodded laying my head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I love you" he whispered.

"Love you too" I said back.

OH. MY. GOD. ED SHEERAN COMES BACK!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED, I CAN'T EVEN! OMG.
