Chapter Twenty Nine

Harry pov

When Louis and I got home, we saw Mullen and Ed cuddled up on the couch. I stopped Louis "shh, look" I pointed at them. He smiled "they made up" Louis stated, looking at me with a smile "yeah, I guess." I laughed. "Should we wake them?" He asked, I shook my head "no" I said.

It was too late, Ed opened his eyes. He looked right at us, his eyes were clouded with sleep. He blinked and looked down at Mullen. He smiled and moved some hair out of her face. "Hey" I said "hey guys" Ed said, looking back up at us "what time is it?" He asked "uh, 10:30" I said, he nodded "okay, I'm gonna take her to bed" he said, getting up with her in his arms.

Ed pov

I laid her down in bed, covering her up. I sighed and made sure she was comfortable before I turned to leave, but before I could she grabbed my wrist, I turned around. She was looking right at me "stay?" She asked quietly. I smiled, nodding "sure" I said, laying down next to her. She cuddled into my chest so I wrapped my arms around her, she sighed "goodnight" she whispered "night" I whispered back.

The sound of the rain hitting the window woke me up "ugh, damn" I mumbled, looking down at Mullen, who was still asleep on my chest. The house was quiet, except the rain of course. "Fuck rain" Mullen whispered, startling me. I laughed "yeah, did it wake you too?" I asked quietly. She nodded, her eyes still closed "its coming down hard" I said, she laughed "you made that sound dirtier that it should have been" she said, I shook my head "how was that dirty?" I asked, she shrugged "it just was" she said, sitting up so she was hovering over me. I nodded "okay" I smiled, she leaned down and put her lips on mine. "Good morning" she whispered "morning" I said.

Mullen pov

Harry ended up making all of us breakfast. Ed didn't eat because he's not a breakfast person "I'll just eat a big lunch, speaking of lunch, come to lunch with me" he said to me, not asking, telling. "Uh, okay" I said, he smiled "good, I would've made you anyway" he laughed, I smiled "wow" he laughed again.

"I don't get why you insist on walking everywhere, in the winter, when I have a car" I complained to Ed "because walking is good for you Mullen" he said "not while you're getting frostbite at the same time!" I said, he laughed "are you cold?" He asked, my eyes widened "duh!" I said, he smiled, taking his coat off and wrapping it around my shoulders "oh, no no no, you're going to freeze! Are you dumb?" I asked, he laughed "just take it, I have my hoodie" he said, I shook my head, taking the jacket off and giving it back to him "no" I said "I have my winter coat and I'm freezing my ass off, I can't imagine having just a hoodie" I said, he shrugged "alright, just let me know if you get too cold" he said.

We ended up going to Nando's, because it was Ed's favourite, and it was the closest for a walking distance. We sat in the booth farthest away from the door, or any windows because we didn't want anyone seeing us. "What do you want?" Ed asked, looking up from his menu "I'm in the mood for some chicken nuggets and fries (chips) you?" I asked. "Mhmm, a burger and chips sound nice" he said, I nodded "yeah..."

After the waitress took our orders, Ed turned to me "so, what do you want to do today?" He asked. I shrugged "I don't know, what do you want to do?" I asked "we could just walk around London, its beautiful this time of year" he said, taking a drink of his soda. I nodded "sure, sounds great" I said.

"Finally! I'm starving!" Ed said, as the waitress set his burger in front of him. I laughed "you're always hungry" he nodded "true" he said, throwing a fry into his mouth. "So...um is this a...date?" I asked, he looked up "do you want it to be?" He asked, smiling. I looked down "yeah...?" I said, as more of a question, he laughed "then a date it is" he said. I smiled "okay" I whispered.

"I love it here" I said, Ed sighed "yeah, me too" he said. It was a nice day in London, even though there was a light drizzle. "This is my favourite part" Ed said as we approached the Big Ben. I smiled "I've never seen it this close up before" I said. "Really?" He asked, I shook my head "its amazing" I whispered, looking up to the top, light rain tickling my face as it fell.  I heard Ed sigh, I turned to look at him, he was looking back at me "what?" I asked, he shook his head, smiling "nothing" he said. I nudged his shoulder, he giggled "you're beautiful" he whispered. I blushed, looking down. "You are" he said, taking my hand "Ed, we're in public" I hissed, I tried to take my hand back "I don't care, not right now" he said. I sighed "alright" I stopped fighting him and held his hand.

We explored London awhile longer, before it started to get too cold to stay out any longer.

We headed back to Harry's apartment, I practically live there now.

Once we walked in the warmth hit our faces, immediately stinging my face. "Hey, where were you guys?" Harry asked "we walked around London for awhile" Ed said. Harry nodded "cool" I walked to the kitchen "want some hot chocolate?" I asked, he nodded "yeah, it's freezing" Ed said. I nodded "yeah, it is. I think it started to snow" I said. He laughed "it did" he said.

"Thank you" he said as I handed him his cup, grabbing my own. We sat on the couch next to Harry and Louis. "What are we watching?" Ed asked, taking a sip from his hot chocolate. "Um, Love Actually" Harry said. We nodded. "This movie makes me cry for some reason" I said, blowing on the top of my cup.

"It's okay, I'm here for you" Ed said, pulling me into his chest and hugging me.

Yeah, I could get used to this.
