Girls' night out. Sounds so much fun, right? And I am not being sarcastic here.

But as I sit down, with my very gorgeous best friends, Amelia, Jessica, Harper and Lindsey, and realizing where our conversation is heading, in this very posh restaurant, it doesn't sound like such a fun time. None of them actually know about my accident back in my high school. It is not because I don't trust them, I absolutely do. But when I first met each of them in completely different venues, I felt like I wanted a fresh start, and I did not want to encounter any of those hurtful memories.

Amelia has been blabbering for the past half hour about how exhausting work has been for the past week, and it sure was. But then the name Nathan Scott came up and how handsome he is and how he knew my name before I even met him and everything then happened so fast, I don't even know how to describe it.

All four pairs of eyes were now glued on me wanting full details of absolutely everything and anything. With their eyes all shiny with excitement, I knew I wasn't getting away with this anytime soon.

'Girls, it is seriously nothing.'

'You have got to be kidding me. I should have captured your face when you first saw him in the office. You were shining girl!'

'Oh my God Amelia you should have!' Said Lindsey ever so excitedly.

'And Clay told me, he took you to his party, you have to tell us everything and right now!'

Everyone gasped once they heard and I could feel my cheeks burning. I will kill you Clay Evans with my own hands. I love gossip, trust me I do, but not when it is about me!

'Um, he has a very nice house on the beach, and he has a girl friend named Vanessa, very beautiful may I add.'

'Boo, girl friend?' Harper asked with a sympathetic look on her face.

'Girls, have you forgotten I have Jacob?'

'I never really liked him, to be honest, love.' Harper said while all the other girls agreed with her by shaking their heads.

'Seriously? Why haven’t anyone told me that before?'

'Because we, we just thought you really liked him, but by the look on your face, turns out we're all wrong.'  Amelia said confidently.

'How so?'

'You were blushing by the mention of another name Isabelle.' Damn it, I knew by having friends that read so many psychological books that I am in heaps of trouble.

'Well?' Asked Jessica hesitantly.

'Honestly, I feel like we're totally falling apart. I mean the excitement of seeing him is no longer there, you know? I don’t have this feeling in my stomach and I don’t smile as much. I feel like I am lost without him. Contrary to all those cheesy romantic books I read that says you feel like you are finally whole. Does anyone get what I am saying?'

They all nodded in understanding.

Harper then started crying out of nowhere and was looking frantically around the table for any napkins. We all directed our heads towards her and I was sighing internally, grateful for the change in attention.

'Harper, sweets, what’s wrong?' Jessica said, she was always the first to break silence.

'Liam and I are no longer engaged.'

All four of us gasped. Liam is Harper's boy friend/Fiancé of five years. They both love each other, literally beyond words. You can tell by sitting with them or even looking at them from a distance. It's the eye contact between them, or them always always holding hands or the fact that they understand each other by simple body language. It always fascinated us all and we adored their relationship.

'What happened, darling?' Lindsey asked while giving Harper a comforting hug.

'Lately we've been arguing too much for my liking. His mother hates me and she just interferes in everything and anything. We stayed at their beach house two weeks ago and I heard her telling him that she doesn’t approve of this relationship and that he should break up with me.' Harper said within her tears and continuous sniffing.

'And then what happened?' I finally spoke.

'I confronted him on what I heard and he said he thinks his mother is right since we've been arguing too much. Can you believe that he didn’t even argue with her? He didn’t even fight for me.'

She then started crying hysterically. We all looked at each other with sympathetic eyes and trembling lips. We're the kind of clique that is only happy when everyone's happy and so very sad when one is.

'God, you deserve so much better than this. Harper you are a beautiful, young, successful girl and you'll find someone so much better than him. 'I told her while hugging her.

'Baby, screw him and his Mom.' Jessica shouted while giving her a high five.

The whole posh restaurant stared at us. I guess this place never witnesses any drama. We then all looked at each other embarrassingly and suddenly burst out laughing. God I love those girls.

'Let's get out of here; she needs ice cream and loads of it. I can't afford, neither pronounce the ones here.' Lindsey said while getting up and we all followed right after her.

'Hey isn't that Nathan Scott, Bells?' Amelia asked as soon as we got out of the restaurant into the bright sunlight.

I glanced up and there he is, wearing a black leather jacket and holding hands with his blonde girl while crossing the street. I didn't want any of the girls to notice the slight blush I feel on my cheeks or how my heart is racing upon seeing him or the absolute jealousy I feel towards the whole 'hand holding' thing. I quickly hid in a corner, between the restaurant we were in and the next building, pulling all the other girls with.

They all started staring at him with wide eyes, good thing he can’t see us. I can’t deny the fact that he is so very handsome and deserves all that staring. They then all directed the staring towards me and all squealed. Yes, girls do that.

'Ice cream?' I suggested innocently and they all, thankfully, nodded excitedly.

'We should take a girls trip abroad, to Paris or something.' Jessica suggested while devouring her chocolate ice cream.

'Oh My God, YES!' I said enthusiastically. Paris will forever and ever be my favorite destination. And going there with my favorite girls' clique would be an absolute dream come true.

'In September girls, I heard the weather is perfect there at that time of the year.' Harper said with her eyes glittering with excitement.

'Trust me Harp, its perfect every single month of the year.' I told her assuring.

'Just think of all the shopping we could do!' Lindsey said while jumping up and down in her seat.

'And a caricature of all four of us under the Eiffel tower.' Jessica said while staring ahead dreamingly.

'Girls, we are so doing this!' I told them excitedly.

'We're coming Paris!' We all shouted with our ice cream cones held high.
