Now being on Airplanes were never a problem for me, since in the past years I have travelled, a lot. But with a freaking out Kesha to my right and an ‘I’m almost passed out’ expression on Nathan’s face to my left, my heart beats were not planning on slowing down.
‘You two, just breathe. In and out, slowly.’ I told them while holding both their hands and trying to calm them down. Lucky for Clay he was coming tomorrow, since he had some last minute work to do, so he didn’t have to witness this chaos. I on the other hand wasn’t half as lucky.
‘Okay guys, we’re here. We’re flying, it’s all good. Just a few more hours and we’ll be on land again.’ I said soothingly.
‘I need a drink.’ They both said in unison.
‘That’s not really the best idea.’ I told them determinately.
‘I take it you’ve been on planes plenty of times before?’ Nathan asked curiously.
‘Before I worked for Clay, I was having my little own world tour. So yes, I have been on planes for a pretty long time. It’s actually very exciting, with watching the clouds and the oceans and all.’
‘Don’t say that again, I might throw up.’ Kesha said with her voice slightly cracking.
‘You see, that is why I really don’t advise you to drink.’
‘Wise.’ Nathan said, while giving me a high five.
I let go of Kesha’s hand when she calmed down a bit, but when I started to pull my hand away from Nathan’s, he just held onto it tighter. I looked up at him and he was staring at me with pleading eyes, I just couldn’t do it. While drifting off to sleep, I realized, it’s going to be harder than I thought it would be on this trip with Nathan. The original plan was to try and distance myself a bit but as it turns out, that’s not really going to happen.

At last, we arrived safely at the airport of Santorini, Greece and all the anxiety that was on the plane was replaced with pure astonishment to the sights we were feasting our eyes with during our ride to the hotel.
This place is beautiful. I cannot believe I have never been here before.
‘How on earth have I never been here before?’ I found Nathan saying, voicing my thoughts.
‘I have no idea. This is amazing!’ Kesha replied with much needed enthusiasm.
‘You’ve never been here with Clay before?’ I asked Kesha a bit shocked.
Clay comes here literally all the time. I have learned from my time working as his assistant that it was his escape and he loved to visit Greece at any chance possible.
‘Clay always told me to join him, but I always thought it would be boring and I have limited time of vacations due to my work, so we always went to New York or Hawaii, since they were my favorite.’
‘Not a big fan of New York to be honest.’ Nathan said from the seat in the front. We were all jammed in a tiny vehicle, with Nathan in the passenger seat and Kesha and I in the back with some of the luggage.
‘New York is the best there is.’ Kesha said determinately.
‘Yeah, but when I vacation, I like it to be in some place quiet, and peaceful.’
‘Same here.’ I said while glancing at the window.
‘You know, if Clay didn’t tell me that Nathan is his new client, I would have totally said you two were dating. It’s just that you two look an awful lot like each other, physically and mentally.’ She said as if she was stating a fact.
