[EDITED]

"Didn't you say you wanted to cuddle?" When you walked out of the bathroom, you were greeted with a sleeping Jeongguk. He was all wrapped up in layers of cotton blankets, all of them covering almost till his chin.

You closed the door before turning off the lights. Locking the door to your bedroom, you made your way to every corner of the room and turned every lights that were on. As you walk towards Jeongguk's side you found that the picture frame wasn't behind the bouquets like you remember you'd place it. You squint making your eyebrows lock as you thought Jeongguk had probably took a look at it and forgot to placed it back. You turn towards him with the frame still in your grip. He looks deep into sleep, his brown tips covering his forehead, looking like a coconut. You placed back the frame where it belonged and pushed back his hair only to get it falling back on his forehead. Not wanting to wake him up, you brushed it sideways, getting a clearer view of his glowing features.

Only the light shone from your bed lamp on your side adhere in the dark room. His face tinted a glowing orange shade as you watch him in awe. His lips slightly parted, his breathing steady and slow. You walked to the other side of the bed and went into the covers along with him. For you it was the first time sleeping on the same bed with someone else other than your ex, especially someone who looks exactly like him. But for Jeongguk, it wasn't the first. You wouldn't remember but he does.

When did he stop loving you?

"You shouldn't be climbing Yumi" Jeongguk warned you as you watched the cat get away, climbing off your balcony to a branch of tree

You were only 5 at that time, the twins being 7 and your brother being 9. Being the youngest amongst them, you were often restricted to do things, to eat things, to say things. You were always an obedient child, always the angel but deep inside of you, you wanted to be treated just like them. Growing up, forgetting your taunting past, was something that took time. But when that traumatic incident happened, you eventually had forgotten those memories which was now buried deep inside your heart.

"You shouldn't Yumi, it's dangerous! It'll come back" He almost sounded pleadingly, trying to avoid you getting hurt. You wanted so badly to catch that cat, to feel it's fur between your fingertips as you cuddle with it on your bed. You try reaching for it, tip toeing as you leant against the concrete balcony wall. Jeongguk pulled onto your dress, stopping you from climbing more than you already are, pleading you to stop. But why were you so stubborn at that time to not listen to what he had said.

'Eomma' Jeongguk who nervously called out for his mother, no one was there in time to save you

"Ginger!" You whined, your fingers wiggling towards the cat who sat on the branch watching you struggle to get it. Your voice almost came out as a yell, as you tried climbing onto the wooden rails. Lifting one of your short leg up to the rails and managing to bring the other so you would be in a straddling position with your back faced Jeongguk who freaked out

"Yumi, get down now!" Jeongguk scolded you, pulling onto your arms, trying his utter best to bring you down safely. "Let go Jeongguk!" You fought back, pulling your hands away from him as he tried grabbing you. That's when you regretted, that scar that will always be fresh in your heart, that moment you yanked his hand away, destroyed your life.

You ripped your hands away from him, losing balance you fell off the balcony. Jeongguk didn't have time to catch you, your fingers slipped out of his grip like feather in the sky. You opened your eyes in shock, finding yourself falling. Your perception of time distorted, everything slowed down until there was nothing, only you and the sky above, the sky that seemed to swallow you whole. Your hand reached out, grasping the endless crevasse of blue. Everything was a blur, a blur that swirled out of existence. Suspended in the air, you closed your eyes and surrendered yourself, waiting for the impact to hit you hard. The balcony was only a few metres tall, but it could get you severely injured.
