Seoul, 1pm

It has been weeks since you've last talked to Jeongguk, you missed him miserably and you had no idea he was on his way back to see you.

You had no idea what happened to him or why he was even summoned there to begin with. So many questions left unanswered. However the constant fights Jeongguk had to deal with his parents, meanwhile, you were so busy with the recent launches of your clothing brand with the help of Shawn. Talking about Shawn, you both connected on another level but to you it was simply a business relationship that your brother had scheduled.

"Are you listening boss?" A female voice echoes in the room, breaking your train of thoughts. You look up from the mountain of papers on your desk

"Yes sorry- I'm just really light headed. Uh everyone take a break and be back in 15 minutes we will discuss the marketing strategies" with that you ended the meeting and everyone made their way out of your office. You planted your elbows on the table and ran your fingers through your soft jet black hair, exclaiming a loud tired sigh

"What are you still doing here" you lift up your head to find Shawn leaning at the door frame of your big office with his arms crossed over his chest

"Just checking up on you like your brother has asked me to-"

"You're my assistant not my babysitter" you mocked and fixed all the paper flying around your desk

"And your brother is my close friend, wouldn't want to disappoint him you see" you rolled your eyes and begin flipping through your schedules planned to see, this whole week you will be busy with business work

"Wanna grab coffee and talk about how you feeling?" You look up once again as he sends you a small genuine smile, you nodded and took your purse, walking out of the room followed by him

"I'm agreeing only to the first part"

You were only 19 and you had to deal with a lot of stress to keep this business running smoothly. It was your dream but you never thought it would be this hard but because it was all you wished for, you would work your ass off for it. You didn't like putting personal life in business life, especially talking your feelings out to Shawn. That was a no no to you.

You were lucky enough that your parents owned this massive 12 story high building with every facility available to you. You both went down to the cafeteria where it was crowded with staffs having lunch, chit chatting here and there. As you queued up for coffee and a ham and cheese sandwich you overheard some of the staffs seated behind you

"They have been close lately dont you think?" A female staff says

"Shawn and the boss? I heard he is her assistant-" another one comments

"Guys hmm.. I-i think we should get back to work-" a male staff says, voice breaking

"Do you think he slept with her to get this job" one says mockingly as all of them chuckles between themselves. Your fist rolled up into a ball about to be thrown at them, but then you felt Shawn's hand on yours trying to calm your self down before causing a scene

"I hope not but if he did I would beat his ass" that voice. You could pick out of a million of other voices in a room, it was his voice. The voice you long for weeks, the one you missed and urged for everyday.. he was back

You turn around abruptly and threw yourself into his arms. You didn't have to think twice to know it was him, once your bodies crashed against each other, the warmth filled you up entirely. The smell of his soft fresh cologne, his arms wrapped around you as he hugs you back with so much love and lust, longing to be together.

"Jeongguk.." you pulled away and looked at his deep dark brown eyes, shimmering with the reflection of the lights in door. His loose strands of hair on his forehead and his perfect plump rosy lips.

You cannot describe how much you missed him, it wasn't easy to say the least. But then suddenly you were reminded of Jiyeong, out of nowhere. So you pulled yourself back and fixed the hem of your skirt and brushed your wavy locks

You posture yourself straight before turning to the chattering table "Pack your things, you're fired" and grabbed your coffee and sandwich from Shawn, making your way to the elevator

"She doesn't like repeating herself, you should know that by now" Shawn barks at the group and guides Jeongguk to your office where you await for him

"Hi I'm Yumi's assistant" Shawn breaks the silence between himself and the man in the elevator

"I heard of you from Taehyung" Jeongguk replies nonchalantly

"I see-" the door of the elevator opens revealing a narrow hallway to your office. Shawn knocks on the door waiting for your response before going in

"Thanks, you may leave now" Jeongguk takes off his leather jacket and places it on the sofa in the corner, signalling Shawn to leave

"Sorry sir but I can only take orders from the boss-" Shawn being stubborn crosses his arms and stares at Jeongguk

"Should i remind you who i am? I am Yumi's boyfriend and we would love to have privacy" Jeongguk exclaims annoyed, from the voice you could tell he was getting impatient so you talked

"Give us a moment Shawn" with that he nodded and left before closing the door. You stood by the front of your desk, your hips leaning on it for support while you took sips of your coffee

"Boyfriend?" You scoffed but underneath that attitude you were overwhelmed with his presence , so happy, so delighted to see him again

"I arrived this morning and thought I'd come straight here to see you" you smiled to that but you didnt want to show him you were happy after all he left without explaining himself

"How did you know?"

"I went to my dorm and saw your brother" he comes closer to you, until he was right there in front of you, inches away from your face

"You left without saying anything" you turn your head away when you felt his fingertips brush against your chin. He looks at you, eyes soften as he lets out a small apologetic sigh

"But I'm here now-"

"That doesn't make up for the weeks you've been ignoring my calls and messages" you pushed him away and went around your desk, as you sat on your chair with the coffee still in your hand

"How about I take you to dinner and we can talk about it?" He suggested, leaning forward over the desk to see you closer. You look straight at him in the eyes, he smiles at you, giving you butterflies all over your stomach

"Pick me up at 7 tonight"

"Yes boss!" With that he gives you a wide smile showing his bunny teeth, sending goosebumps all over your arms. You couldn't help but smile back at him before returning back to your resting bitch face

"See you later then, love" He wears his jacket and waves goodbye before leaving your office

'Love..' you murmured under your breath, you couldn't believe after everything that happened with his brother, then him leaving, you would feel this way towards him at all. It felt like a new spark has ignited and you were down to play with fire as long as it was with him and for him.
