Chapter 9

Ariana's P.O.V

I quickly ran away from the woods and towards the hospital. My head was spinning with the idea of Jai dying. He was my first love. Someone I couldn't bear to lose. I needed to save him.

My ears picked up the slight tapping as Nathan feet collided with the asphalt behind me. The noise didn't stop me, as I kept running I tried to block out the events that occurred during the last hour.

I didn't know what to feel anymore. Jai, he was sweet and kind. I knew that no matter what he would love me. He would be there for me in the tough times and I would be there for him. But Nathan...

Nathan was a different story. He was dangerous and he didn't care about anything. But something about the way he smirked at me when I talked back to him make me love him. I can't figure out if I love him more than I love Jai.

"Ariana! Please slow down! I can't keep up with you newborn vampire abilities!"

Nathan gasped for air as he ran. Trying to speed up to catch up with my fast sprint.

Even though we are vampires and don't need to breathe, sometimes breathing with strengthen our powers.

"No Nathan!"

I shout coming to a sudden halt, causing Nathan to run into my back.

"I will not let you win! This is all your fault! My boyfriend is in the freaking hospital right now because of you! You are a terrible terrible person."

I deeply chuckled realizing what I had just said.

"Person... You don't even deserve to be called that! Your a monster and nothing more than a rude, inconsiderate monster!"

My fist clenched as I turned and punched the lone tree next to me.

Nathan looked at me with pure fear. My blood boiling, I turned and calmly began walking away.

As I walked away something inside of me clicked. Something evil and sinister. Something that I had feared would happen since the day I became like this.

I was a bloodthirsty, murderous monster and I was going to do whatever it took to get my way.

Alrighty well it's safe to say that this chapter was really short. I'm so sorry that it took me this long to update. I don't really have an excuse and I'm really sorry. I'm going to try to be better in 2014 I promise. I love you all.
