Chapter 12

Nathan's P.O.V

"Yay!"

Ariana squealed as we follow behind the tall man. I watched as the slave of the leaders eyed Ariana up and down her body. I snapped my middle finger and thumb together to signal him to stop.

"I-I'm sorry, sir."

He stuttered. Showing that I had succeeded in scaring the boy. A wide smirk spread across my pale face as I continued to walk behind the group. Ariana slowed down so that she was standing next to me. Her beautiful dark brown waves fell loosely in front of her face as we walked.

"Why are we walking so slow?"

Ariana questioned the young man. She was right, we were slowly waltzing through the woods. We could easily be running.

"There is a group of hikers nearby, sir. We can go faster once we ensure that they are out of sight."

I nodded slowly at his response. It made quite a lot of sense. We continued to walk for about an hour before we were able to speed to our destination. The world flew by us as we picked up speed. Ariana's hair blowed behind her as she slowly closed her eyes and let the wind hit her face.

Everything seemed to move in slow motion as I stared at her with admiration. She was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen and I partly regret turning her in the first place. She had so much potential as a human. She was in college and she was an amazing singer and she could have gone places, in fact, I know she would have.

She would have become a successful women. She would have had the oppurtunity to get married and have children with the man she loved. My heart broke in my chest as i remember the fact that i killed that man. The man she was in love with is the man that i killed and I can't help but feel responsible for everything.

It is all my fault.

Ariana turned her head to face me and she smiled her beautiful smile. My mouth twitched into a small smile back at her but was soon replaced by a frown. I looked down at my feet and the ground as it raced by me.

We continued on like this for about an hour, seeing as we were going to such a far location. When we arrived, Ariana stood in complete silence. Her eyes were wide in amazement. I smiled slightly at her as she slowly began to walk around the large estate.

"So this... This is where the leaders live?"

Ariana questioned the man that had led us here.

"Yes ma'am. This is where the demon leaders have lived for nearly 10 centuries."

Ariana's eye widen yet again with amazement. She slowly began walking towards the building. After she took about 10 steps, she turned back towards us.

"Are we going to meet them or not?"

I nodded slowly and followed after her.

"Let's get this over with."

Hey babies!

I'm so freaking sorry that i haven't updated either of my fanfictions in like 120 years and I'm not even going to try and make some excuse because I know I shouldn't have waited this long for a new chapter and I'm so sorry. I also know that this chapter is kind of short but i just wanted to give you guys something because i thought it would be better than nothing and also I want time to try and write a chapter of Fugitive tonight.

So again i'm so sorry for waiting so long and I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and I hope that you guys don't hate me haha
