Dirty Little Secrets

Chapter 4

Ariana's P.O.V


"You" I growled.


"Ah now is that any way to speak to your maker?" He replied smirking. "And I have a name."


"I don't care what your name is, now get out of my house before I kill you." I refused to let the fear inside me show.


"Nathan..." He muttered.


"I said I didn't care." I spat.


He rolled his eyes and pushed past me, walking into my apartment. I sped over in front of him getting in his way.


"What do you think you're doing? I don't know if you remember but this is my house!" I shouted, shocked by his lack of manners.


He grabbed my wrist pushing me out of his way. I lost my balance and stumbled into the glass coffee table in my living room. The glass shattered and it stuck into my cold skin.


I lay on the ground for a while, trying to regain my strength.


"I advice you not to do that again, honey. Or maybe next time it will be a window you fly into." He stated not making eye contact with me.


I was taken aback by his rude and cruel statement.


"P- please don't h-hurt me again." I whispered.


I stood up slowly pulling the glass from my skin. Nathan smiled in my direction as he examined the mess he had just created.


He walked up to me slowly, causing me to shiver. He leaned in close to my ear and whispered,


"I won't hurt you anymore. But I can't make that promise for everyone."


Jai's P.O.V


I just dropped Ariana off at her apartment. She seemed so different. Not just the way she looked but her attitude. She seem confused and shook up, like something serious had just happened.


I decided to drive to her mom's house to ask her if she knew anything.


I jumped out of the car and jogged up the steps to the front door. Her mom must have heard my car because the door opened before I could reach for the handle.


"Hello Jai! What brings you here today?" She asked, a huge smile spread across her face.


"I was wondering if you knew about anything happening to Ari. She seemed different today when I found her roaming the streets after her vocal lesson." I explained.


She looked at me with worry filled eyes. I think she was just as confused as I was.


"Well do you know if she's okay right now? Did you make sure she got to her apartment?" She asked me a billion questions.


I told her the truth. That I watched her go into the building and everything seemed fine.


"Ariana was probably just tired. I'm sure everything is okay, Jai." She gave me a reassuring smile and I told her that I would talk to her later.


Once I left the house, I decided to call it a night. Maybe everything will be better tomorrow.


I began driving home but after about five minutes It began pouring rain. I tried to drive as carefully as I could to avoid getting in a car accident.


The rain was picking up, causing a terrible downpour.


I was driving at 50 miles per hour down the highway when a figure appeared in the middle of the road.


I swerved out of the lane, trying not to hit the creature. I lost control.


My car started spinning down the traffic filled highway. I gripped the steering wheel, desperately trying to direct the car back to the road.


I felt a strong impact hit the passenger side of the car. The entire last seconds before I passed out went in slow motion.


The impact caused large ripples of force to rip through the car and my body. I was thrown back into my seat by the airbag. My entire body went weak.


I could hear the sirens off in the distance as my heart began to slow down. My breathing fast and short.


Everything went black

Hey guys!!


I know it hasn't been that long since I last updated but I got the idea for this chapter in student assistant class today and I had to write it. I'm sorry that the story isn't very good so far but thank you for the positive feedback I've been getting!
