**Hey it's another chapter. I am trying to decide if I want to divide this one up into different books or if I am going to have this be one long one. That may happen with my other fic. Anyways, I will stop rambling and let you get reading.**
Song: See You Again by Carrie Underwood
Yugi's POV
We all reached the park and spotted the group sitting beneath one of the big trees. Joey looks up and gasps. "Marik, Ishizu long time no see. How are you two," he asks. "We are good. Thank you Joey," she says and then turns to me. "Is something going on," asks Joey. "Yeah, umm you guys know how I never knew my parents and how they died when I was younger," I say. "Yeah, what do you mean," asks Anzu. "Well my mom did. She died when I was being born. My father however was alive," I say.
"What," they all say. "Wait a minute, you said was Yugi," says Bakura. "Yeah he died recently. This was very shocking to say the least, but it wasn't the most shoking thing," I say. "What was it Yug? You can tell us anything and I'm sorry about your dad," says Joey. "Thanks Joey. My father he-he was the Pharaoh of Egypt," I say. "No way," says Anzu. "That's so cool," says Tristan. I smile at them. "Yugi, if your father was the Pharaoh and he died then that means," says Ryou.
"Yeah, I am now the Pharaoh of Egypt. I haven't been crowned yet, but I have to leave soon," I say. Anzu has tears in her eyes. "That's great Yugi, but we won't see you much anymore," she says. "I know, but this isn't goodbye guys it's till I see you again. I also have something to ask you guys," I say. "Alright, I'm listening," says Joey. "Well I wanted to ask you guys if you wanted to be on my court? I get to pick and I couldn't think of anyone else who I would trust more," I say. They all gasp.
"Are you sure Yugi? I mean I am happy you trust us with something like this, but are you sure," asks Tristan. "Yugi's got the right as Pharaoh to pick his court. You've got our complete trust as the first two members of his court," says Marik. "That's amazing, but I can't Yugi. I have dance school in America. I will however come and see you as much as I possibly can," Anzu says with a smile. I smile back at her. "I'm gonna answer with a heck yes," says Joey. "I definately agree with Joey," says Bakura. "That's four," says Marik.
"Definately yes," says Tristan. "Thanks guys. This means a lot," I say. "So Mr. Muto will you be going with Yugi or are you staying here in Domino," asks Bakura. "Well I was gonna tell him while we were here so I guess now is a good time. I already talked with Ishizu and I will be moving my game shop to Egypt so that I can stay with Yugi," he says and I hug him. "Yeah Gramps is joining us. Do you mind if I ask Serenity if she would like to move to Egypt with me? I mean I am doing this with or without her, but I don't think I'd be happy if I didn't ask," Joey asks.
"I don't mind at all. She is always welcome," I say. Marik hands me the box with Atem's crown in it. "What's that," asks Tristan. I pull it out and show them. They all stare at it in shock. "How did you get it Yugi," asks Anzu. "Atem gave it to me himself last night," I say and a stray tear comes to my eye. "I'm sure he's proud of you Yug," says Joey. I nod at him. "Though how was he able to talk to you," asks Tristan. "I don't know, but it did help me tremendously. It reminded me that I am never alone. Even though it'll be tough without him, I will see him again," I say.
"Yeah and when we do, I am gonna give the guy and nice big ol hug and a smack on the head for leaving," says Joey. We all laugh at him. We all stay and chat for a while. I won't see Anzu after this for a while cause she won't be able to see me off at the airport. She gives me a big hug and starts crying. "Just remember our friendship and I will always be there with you," she says. "I could never forget you Anzu," I say. "You'll make a great Pharaoh," she says and gives my hand a squeeze before walking away.
Marik and Ishizu tell them to have everything ready to go in a week. I have to leave tomorrow. I guess they don't like me being away from the country and guards for very long. Now that will be tough to get used to. I sigh and keep packing boxes with the stuff that I will take with me. Ishizu already took my measurements for clothes I was gonna wear. I am keeping my old clothes in hopes that I can wear them from time to time. I look around at the semi-empty room. I will be leaving so many memories here.
I grew up here and this is where a lot of my private conversations with Atem happened. I grip a framed photo of him that Anzu gave me. She snapped a pic of him without him seeing her and had it framed. I smile at the picture. It's probably going to be the only one that I will have of him. I place it into it's proper box and think back on when he was here. I must have done a lot of thinking because by the time I was done, my room was packed. "Yugi, you got most of this done. Well done, I was coming up to tell you to go to bed. You have a big day tomorrow," he says.
I give him a hug and bid him a goodnight. I sometimes wonder how much longer I have with Grandpa. I mean he is starting to show his age. As much as he tries to hide it, it doesn't work on me. I see everything. It's the Yugi Muto sixth sense as Joey calles it. At least most of my friends agreed to be on my court. Now I need to fill the last spot. I have no idea who to pick, but I can't think of that right now. I need some sleep. The second my head hits the pillow, I crash.
**Thanks for reading guys. I also wrote this while I was sleepy so sorry if it's not my best. I'll see you all in the next chapter!**
