Yugi's POV

It has been about a month since the prophecy has been discovered and Marik and Ishizu have been hard at work trying to decipher every symbol on the wall. I haven't gotten much of an update yet, but that is because they want to give it to me in whole pieces and not just chunks. So far me running Egypt has gone smoothly. The country is healing itself. The poverty levels are going down and more and more kids are getting into schools to take jobs that are available to them. I am happy with the progress I have made in a short period of time.

I suppose it's time to head to the throne room for another update from my council members. I enter and Ishizu and Marik have a grim look on their faces. "What is going on," I ask. "We have deciphered most of the message and you aren't going to like most of what you are about to hear," says Ishizu. "Alright lets sit down and get started," I say and we all sit down around the table. "Ok this is what we are translating it to. The Pharaoh and his vessel may vanquish darkness in one realm, but not in the other," says Ishizu.

"The true items remain while the false lie in the tomb. The Dark One will come again via the true items in the mortal realm. The gate of the afterlife will be opened once again. Joined once more will the Nameless Pharaoh and vessel be to vanquish the Darkness for eternity. Then the final choice must be made," says Marik. "So Zorc will rise again," I say. "Well hell," says Joey. "Are the guards at all prepared for anything yet," I ask. "No we wanted you to know and to tell us how to proceed with this information," says Ishizu.

"I want you to work on evacuation plans with the guards. Zorc will be mine and Atem's problem. I'm hoping to keep this out of the city, but it may happen inside the city. I want them evacuated to the mountains and caves. If that's not possible, take them to the Valley of the Kings and have them hide inside the tombs and caves. I don't want to disturb any of the past Pharaoh's graves, but we may have to do that if there's not enough room in the tunnels," I say. They all nod. "I'll start preparing the guard. The sooner they are aware the better," says Tristan.

"Ok Tristan. Mana I want you to help Ishizu and Marik in any way you can with the enscriptions. See if you can find any information that can help. Have you found anything on how Atem will come back," I ask. "We have found a few symbols that we believe to represent the ceremony in which Atem would come back, but we are still working on those," says Ishizu. "Good keep going on those in case there is preparations that have to happen. Joey I want you to help Tristan. Bakura I want you to keep an eye on the villagers. We have to ensure their safety," I say.

They all nod and the meeting is dismissed. Mana hangs back. "What do you need Mana," I ask. "Well I've been thinking about all this during the meeting. If we're bringing the Pharaoh back, wouldn't it make sense that his court would come with him," she asks. "Anything is possible at this point. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to the idea. They could really help us," I say. She nods. "I'm going to get to work on those writings. Hopefully I can figure it out by days end. You'd think with my history I'd be able to decipher them in an instant, but some of it faded when I came back," she says.

"You just do what you can Mana," I say. She heads off back down the hall and I head to the kitchen where the servants have a meal prepared for me on a tray. I take it thanking them and head back to my room. I set it down on my desk and find a packet of pictures of the writings. I look at the symbols, but I can't figure it out. I eat and examine each of the pictures. It seems like we'd have to go back to the gate where the ceremonial duel happened, but that one has been destroyed. The only way that'd work is if there is another gate.

What did it mean by final choice? I take off the crown and rub my eyes. So many questions and so little answers. I walk over and change into something more suitable to sleep in. At least I got to keep my own pajamas. I hear a few fast knocks on the door and I go and open it. Mana comes in and shuts the door. "I have found out something. There is another door that you will have to open so their spirits can pass into the mortal realm," she says. "Do you know where the door is," I ask her.

"It is in the valley of the kings in a Pharaoh's tomb. I think it's in Atems," she says. "His tomb is still intact from the collapse of the resting place of the Millinium Items. What do I have to do," I  ask. "You have to present the 7 original Millenium Items to the door to unlock it," she says. "When will Zorc rise," I ask. She has a grim look on her face. "Tomorrow," she says.
