We all fall to our knees the ground shook so bad. Atem drapes his body over mine protecting me after stone starts falling from the ceiling. It feels like we're all crouched for several minutes before it stops and Atem shakes off his cape before helping me up and everyone gets up and me and Atem look at each other and we sprint out onto the main balcony and are greeted with a terrifying sight. Darkness is flowing across the night of Egypt making the night even darker. In the distant, you can see a very gruesome creature crawled out of the ground.
"Oh gods he's here," I say. I turn and look at the mountains and see the people are still climbing the mountains. "We have to slow him down so the people can get to safety," I say. Isis uses her DiaDhank to summon her Winged Dragon. Seth uses his to summon the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Joey uses his to summon Red Eyes Black Dragon. "We will go and distract him. You figure out a way to stop him," says Joey. "You all be careful," I say and they nod and take off into the sky. Once they exit the city, I see a purple shimmering barrier go up around the city.
"They've done it," says Atem. "Ishizu is there anything that you have seen that says how he will be defeated," I ask. "I haven't seen anything yet, but I am working swiftly on it," she says and we run in and search through the piles of pictures. That's when I see one. I stare at the picture while their discussing the one with the stone and it says that a sacrifice of pure light is needed in order to match the darkness and to trap it forever. I hide the picture and slip it in my shendyt before paying attention to what they're looking at.
"You can try summoning the Creator of Light again," says Marik. "Yes, but if I do that I'd be down for the count. It takes a tremendous amount of energy because I have to summon all three Gods then I have to use the scales to fuse them all together," he says. I have to tell them. "Guys I found it," I say and place the picture on the table. Atem looks up at me. "No no this isn't the way," he says. "It makes sense though. Why would he choose now and not before now. Before you came back," I say.
"I will not lose you again. Never again. This can't be the way," he says and has tears in his eyes. "If this is how it must be done then I must go. We can't allow him to harm the people of Egypt," I say. "We have to exhaust every last thing first. That is last resort. It won't happen," he says. I don't say anything else, but I bring aside Bakura and Marik. "I have to do this. Hold him back when I leave the palace in a little while. Please tell him how much I love him," I say and go to my rooms and put my crown on the desk along with a note beneath it to him.
I grip my DiaDhank and with tears, I look at the picture of my father. I pick up the picture and place it next to my crown. I had turned off my link to Atem so he didn't know what I was doing. With tears in my eyes, I go out of the room and down the hall. I walk through the palace and reach the throne room. Just before reaching the grand staircase, he burst into the throne. "No Aibou," he yells. With tears, I don't look at him. I know if I do then I will lose my courage to do this.
"Please don't go stay with me," he says. I can see out of the corner of my eye that Marik, Bakura, and Mahad even were holding him back. "I'm sorry," I say and go down the staircase to my horse and ride out to meet Zorc with full force. I have tears in my eyes as I ride out to meet him. Oh Atem, I am so sorry that it has to end this way. I really wish it didn't have to. I wish we could have been able to enjoy our lives together. I guess this is until we meet again in the afterlife. Please remember that I love you so much.
I didn't realize I had accidently let the link open back up. 'I love you too,' he says back at me. I ride until see the face of the beast himself. Zorc, the Dark One. I looked up into his eyes showing absolutely no fear. "So this is who they send out to meet me. A little runt of a Pharaoh they have. You're even shorter than Atem," he says and laughs. "You can make fun of me all you want, but I will stop you Zorc. You will be vanquished forever," I say. "Oh and how do you propose you're going to do that," he says.
Before I get to say anything, I hear something and turn to see Atem and the rest of my council and his riding towards us and the three on their monsters flying beside him. "Looks like they've come to help you," he says and laughs. In those moments, I was given a vision from the Gods. I knew how he was to be defeated. Atem rides up to join me. "You are not going at this alone," he says. "No I'm not. I've just been shown his demise and I can't do it by myself," I say. "What do you mean," asks Atem.
"Call forth The Creator of Light," I say. "Are you sure," asks Atem. "Yes," I say. "I won't let you do this," yells Zorc and he goes to strike. However he is stopped by Exodia. I see Grandpa and Shimon both wearing DiaDhanks riding towards us. "Atem now," I say. "Legendary Gods of Egypt I call upon thee. Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, Winged Dragon of Ra come forth," he shouts and the sky lights with a bright light. The Gods come down from the Sky with a battle cry.
We are handed the scales. "Now my Gods merge together to form The Creator of Light," shouts Atem and in a great show of light they fuse together. Once the light fades a tiny bit, The Creator of Light is revealed. I take the Millennium Scales and present them to the God. "Merge with me Creator of Light," I yell and with a bright flash of light I close my eyes and feel the God merge with me and when I open my eyes I am covered in an armor much like in the Capsule Monsters game. I am flying and am bathed in light both my own and the Gods.
A spear appears in my hand. "I am Light personified! Together with the Creator of Light you will be vanquished," I yell and fly forward. I fire my spear at him and it's a direct hit and he yells and swats at me and I dodge the attack easily and stab him in the head with my spear and he lets out a yell before cracks appear in his skin and light pours from his skin. "I will take you with me," he says and goes to grab me, but I take my spear and fly away before he can touch me. I land next to Atem and watch as Zorc blows to pieces.
We all yell in victory and the armor fades from me and forms back to the Creator of Light and she appears. "You have done well young Pharaoh. The Gods thank you for your bravery in the face of Darkness. That Darkness is now vanquished for good. Now your final task is to lead your friends back to their final resting place where they are given their final choice," she says before she disappears. So I have to take them back now. My heart is a little hollow at the prospect off them going back but I know what I have to do.
