[ Well, I finally got my phone fixed, so I will be on more frequently. And updating a lot more frequently. That's all, love you. xx ]

~Rachel's POV~

I walk into the house, knowing that everyone but Gaby and Alayna would be asleep. Gaby and Alayna were early risers, even though they went to bed later than I do. They didn't look sleep deprived or feel sleep deprived, but I still found it weird.

I sneak past my parent's bedroom, hearing the familiar snores from both my dad and mom. Once I walk into the bedroom, I took in the sight I saw. Alayna and Niall were cuddling in front of my TV watching Rudolph, while Gaby scrolled through tumblr on her phone. All while having more than a buffet of food around them.

Chocolate chip, banana, and raisin muffins were in a small pile on my floor on a giant platter. Along with mini boxes of cereal, drinks, and of course, bacon. It was one heck of a Christmas morning feast.

"Hey Rachel," Gaby says, not even glancing up from her phone. "How was Zayn? Did you give him your present?"

"How-" I bother not even to ask. It seemed as if by now Gaby had some sort of magic. "He was fine and so was his Aunt. He made us some breakfast, his Aunt questioned us, and I gave him a gift, then he gave me one."

"Wanna watch Rudolph with us?" Niall asks and Alayna nods eagerly. I glance down at my outfit, then back at them.

"Depends. Do you think I should tone the outfit down or keep on the dress?" I ask them. Niall continues to watch the movie, but Alayna being the person who adores fashion, looked up at me.

"I'd say tone it down to a nice sweater and sweats, or a comfy shirt and blue jeans." She answer, before turning back to Niall and the movie.

I nod and walk into my closet that had the bathroom adjoined with it. I grab a pair of sweatpants and a Christmas Goofy sweater I bought a couple weeks back. Once I get changed, I walk back into the bedroom.

I start to grab the plates before Gaby interjects,"Why are you touching the food?"

"Bringing them back so my parents don't start questioning things. They'll put two and two together," I tell her. I glance at the room again. "Niall, I guess you're fine."

"He better be," Alayna jokes.

"What does the food have to do with Zayn or your parents second-guessing you? You know I'm a sucker for a 'Romeo and Juliet' kind of thing, but I'm confused." Gaby says. Niall looks up at me too, almost confused as which I was hiding this from my parents also.

"They've known Alayna since I was in the sixth grade. They know her and Niall wake up early, so they'll understand to why they're watching a movie. But what they wouldn't understand is why you guys are in here instead of the family room, and why I wouldn't have been with you. Then when they see the food they'd know you'd be staking out, almost like you're avoiding them, and-" I notice Gaby's confusion. "Long story short, my parents know when I'm lying or covering up something, unless I do a great job covering it up."

"Whatever," Gaby says, resuming to go through her phone. I heard some quiet rustling around coming from the kitchen and I knew my parents were awake. Alayna looks at me.

"The story should be we were in my room watching a movie, because Niall got tired of the couch and couldn't stand another minute on it." I told them, answering Alayna's expectant stare.

"But I am tired of the couch," Niall whines.

"Then that'll just make the story about thirty percent more true," I say.
