Ch. 16: One Direction & Lily

Natalie's POV

After 20 or so minutes, Lily pulled into the driveway of a huge mansion sized house.

"Welcome back boys. And for Natalie, welcome." Lily smiled. She parked the car and we all got out.

"We can only stay for a couple of hours. Tomorrow we have an interview for a morning news show."Calum tells Lily.

"Aww. You guys used to visit all of time. What happened?" Lily sighed, unlocking the trunk of the car.

"I know, we're sorry. We've just been working on the new album." Luke replies, smiling to himself as he grabbed his suitcase out of the trunk and then grabbed mine.

"That's cool. Have you decided on what you're going to name the album?" Lily asked.

"We haven't decided yet. And we hope to drop the album later next year." Ashton answered, grabbing his suitcase before closing the trunk.

We made our way towards the front door and before Lily could insert the key into the lock, the door opened and revealed Liam Payne.

I couldn't help but to fangirl a bit on the inside since I'm a "bit" of a directioner. "Hey lads. Oh hey I'm guessing you're Natalie." Liam smiled at me. "Y-yeah." I smiled, probably blushing like an idiot.

"She's a fan." Calum chuckled, reading my mind. I playfully hit him in the arm since he was standing right beside me.

Liam smiled and exchanged looks between Calum and I before welcoming us inside. When we walked into the living room I instantly noticed Harry, Niall, Zayn, and Louis.

Once they noticed us they all got up and gave each other 'bro hugs' saying things like 'great to see you lads again' and 'how's it been with the album'.

I pretty much just stood awkwardly behind Luke, Calum, Michael, and Ashton since the 1D guys didn't really notice me. I mean it's not like I was screaming "OH MY GOD ITS ONE DIRECTION!"

I jumped a bit when I felt a hand on my lower back, looking to find that it was Liam. "You're shy, aren't you?" He asks. I pretty much make the "so-so" motion with my hand.

He laughs a bit to himself. "You're cute, you know that right." He smirks.

Before I can even think, I hear a different voice. "Hey I'm Harry." Harry smiles, giving me an extremely comforting hug. "Natalie." I introduce myself. Niall, Louis, and Zayn introduced themselves the same way.

"And I can see that you've already meet Lily." Louis says, gesturing to Lily who was now sitting next to him. "She's our mate."

"I'm sorry if she annoyed the hell out of you on the car ride here." Harry says in a sarcastic tone. "Or shut up Harold. You wouldn't shut up at all on the tour bus." Lily laughs.

"Hey I'm going to take Natalie upstairs." Lily says, smiling at me before getting up and walking over towards me. She led me upstairs and to one of the first rooms, revealing what I was assuming was her bedroom.

"Hey Lily, if you don't mind me asking, are you a vampire too?" I asked, sitting on the edge of her bed. "Yeah. I was turned almost a year ago." She answered, sitting beside me.

"How old were you when they found you?" I asked. "They "kidnapped" me when I was 15 at one of their concerts. But two years later I don't consider it kidnapping now". She answered smiling to herself at the end.

I smiled a bit to myself too. I mean her kidnapped story was pretty much the same as mine. She was kidnapped at the concert, I was kidnapped at a meet and greet. She was 15 when it happened and I'm still 15. I mean besides that, that's pretty much it though...

"I know that you've been with them for a bit of time now. Have you ever thought of running away?" She asked. A shiver went down my spine thinking of the last time I ran away. Failure.

"Thought? I did, but I got caught." I tell her. "Did you ever try running away?"

"Oh yeah. I used to run away all of the time. But I mean my fifteen year old self thought that they were going to kill me since they were vampires. Got caught every single time." She laughed a little bit at the end before her phone went off.

"Hold on I have to find my charger." She says walking over towards her desk and moves a couple of books out of the way. "Damn. I'll be be right back." She sighed, walking out of the room and closing the door behind her. "LOUIS GIVE ME BACK MY CHARGER!" I hear her shout from down the hallway.

I laugh a bit to myself before I hear a tapping sound at the window. Confused, I walked over towards the first window that I saw which was beside her bed and looked out. I didn't see anything much till I noticed a dark shadowy figure right by a tree. I blinked a couple of times and the figure disappeared. "Stupid imagination." I mumbled to myself, before hearing a voice whisper in my ear. "Hey babe."

I jumped instantly at the voice and turned around to face the figure. I didn't recognize him all. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, and black jeans, just like the guy from my dream. But this was someone different. He had dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and was probably around six feet tall considering the fact that he towered over me. 

"Guys!" I screamed, but no words came out. No sounds came out. Nothing. I bring a hand up to my throat and keep trying say something, anything. But still nothing. "It's my power babe." He says, smirking to himself as he takes a step closer to me. "To take away that pretty, little voice of yours." He brings his fingers up and strokes the side of my face but I quickly swatted his hand away.

"Oh Jc is going to be so happy when he has you." He says, I back away from him till I hit the wall. 

There's a small gap between the man and me so I take the opportunity and run past him to the door. I reach the door and twist the doorknob open before I feel him grab my hair and pull me back. I lost my balance and fell to the ground, causing a loud crash.

Suddenly the door opens and the man vanished as a concerned Louis and Zayn came in.

"Oh my god what happened?" Louis asked as they rushed up to me. "Are you hurt?" Zayn asked.

"I-I." I chocked out. My voice was back? How? Zayn picks me up and placed me on the edge of the bed before both of them sat by my side.

"Who was that man?" Louis asked. "I-I d-don't know." I stuttered, feeling tears go down my cheeks. "I'm just scared."

That's when the door opened and everyone else came in. The rest of the 1D guys looked concerned while the 5sos guys looked heartbroken when they saw me. Lily had a mixed expression of the two.

"What happened?" Niall asked first.

"Someone bad was here." Louis sighed, looking down at me. I wiped away some of my tears but I just kept crying.

"Natalie just remember, all of us are here to protect you."

I'm so pissed. I wrote this chapter and some of the next chapter and it got deleted 😭. I'm sorry if this chapter sucked since I had to go off of memory from what I wrote before. Anyways can you guys give feedback and tell me what you guys think is going to happen in the next chapter.
