Natalie's POV ••• I kept running through the woods till I felt like my legs were burning. Thank god for the track team and my fast legs. I'm pretty sure I made it a couple of miles but I wasn't sure considering that every direction I looked there were nothing but woods for miles.
By now the it was dark outside but I wasn't sure what time it was and I didn't really care. I just couldn't go back there. I don't know why I didn't leave sooner. I mean, yes, it's 5 seconds of summer but they're VAMPIRES! They can kill me whenever the hell they want! And they expect for me to be okay with them 'marking me'?! Um...no.
I kept walking for miles, trying to find lights from a town or shop...or anything really. But of course, nothing but trees.
I started to grow tired as my eyes landed on one of the trees and I got an idea. "Eh...I've always wanted to be like Katniss." I thought to myself as I started to climb up the tree, getting a couple of cuts on my hands in the process.
Once I was about thirty or so feet high, it finally hit me that I had a fear of heights and decided not to go any higher. I just laid there with my back to the trunk of the tree and sighed. What has my life become in only a couple of days? I'm supposed to be home, watching YouTube videos and singing songs with Jade while jumping around like idiots. I miss her so much. I miss my family so much.
(Also I don't think I ever put a picture of Jade in the story so...this is her)

••• Luke's POV •••
Once Ashton unlocked the front door, I could instantly tell that something was off. I wasn't sure what but I just felt different. "I'm going to go check to see if Natalie is still sleeping." Michael said before walking up the stairs.
It was probably almost midnight when we got home and we didn't expect to get home so late. I wanted to cuddle with Natalie again like I did last night but she's sleeping in Michael's room till we get her room set up.
"GUYS!" Michael shouted before he sped back downstairs. "SHE'S GONE!"
"What do you mean?" I asked, trying to stay calm. "What do you think I mean?! She isn't here." He shouted at me. "She wouldn't run away, right?" Ashton asked,crossing his arms over his chest.
"Yeah she would..." Calum sighed. "...Earlier I was reading her thoughts and she was thinking about running away."
"Why? How could she?" Michael asked as tears brimmed in his eyes. "I'm not sure. I stopped reading her mind after that. I tried to warn her but I guess it wasn't enough." Calum said as his head hung low. Ashton walked out of the room but I didn't pay too much attention to him.
"He have to find her. I mean what happened if he finds her. Or worse." I say as I run my fingers through my hair.
"Guys! The back door is unlocked!" Ashton called from a different part of the house. We all speed to the back door to find that it was wide open. "C'mon. And we don't stop (*starts singing don't stop*) searching until we find her." Calum says.
We all nod our heads and run separate ways. To be honest I don't know if I should be angry at her or sad at the fact that she would run away...
••• Natalie's POV ••• I shivered and rubbed my arms as another gust of wind hit. It was so cold and it just started to rain.
"NATALIE!" I heard someone call in the distance. Luke.
What? How did they see that I was gone? Whatever. If they find me I know that it'll be hell.
"NATALIE!" I hear him call again, this time his voice sounds a lot closer. That's when I see him and I pray that he doesn't see me.
I hear leaves crunching below me and I look down to find Luke Robert Hemmings standing right beneath me. (she's still up in the tree btw)
I clamp my hand over my mouth to prevent me from making any sounds that Luke could hear. Please don't let him look up.
All of a sudden, Michael, Ashton, and Calum were right by Luke's side. Oh yeah, super speed.
"Did you guys find anything?" Michael asked as it started to rain harder. "Nope." Ashton replied, popping the 'P'.
"She couldn't have gotten that far right?" Michael asked.
Another gust of wind hit making me whimper from the coldness. I instantly regretted it when Calum's head looked up. A smirk plastered on his face as he nudged Michael's arm.
"I wouldn't say that." He said, looking back up at me. The others followed his gaze and their eyes landed on me.
"Natalie, get down here right now!" Ashton shouted. "Um, since when did you become my dad Ashton?" I sassed. "Natalie if you don't come down here we're going to climb up this damn tree and bring you down here ourselves." Ashton threatened. I just rolled my eyes and stayed put. That's when Luke and Ashton started to climb up the tree.
I started to panic, looking for a way that I could climb higher when I saw another branch above me. I tried to reach for it but ended up losing my balance and slipping.
I closed my eyes and screamed as I was falling to the ground, waiting for the impact when it never came. Confused, I opened my eyes to reveal that I was in Calum's arms.
"Found you." He teased with the same smirk on his face. I was about to fight to get out of his grasp but I felt a pitch in my arm and everything got blurry and I felt a lot weaker. These assholes drugged me again!
I turned my head that the side to find whoever drugged me and saw a person with bright red hair. Michael. He gave me a sympathetic look and kissed my forehead before everything went black....
••• I'm so sorry for not updating I'm just really panicked about school since I go back in a couple of days. I don't wanna go back 😢. Also I don't know if you guys know about this thing called Playlist Live but it's a convention that's being held in Washington D.C. and I wanna go so badly but I can't. If you know what I'm talking about or if you're going then you're extremely lucky. On a positive note, when I finally got to updating I saw that this story has over 100 reads! Thank you guys so much! ••• Also, Natalie seemed pretty pissed at all of the guys but which one would you ship? (I should also let you know that I suck at ship names so if you have a better ship name then plz comment it)
