I woke up by the sun blinding my vision, my naked body on top of Devrick's naked body as his arms wrapped around me, the sheets barely covering our bodies. I don't remember what happened at all, my mind was foggy and just black.

The door banged and I knitted my eyebrows, removing Devrick's arms around me as I turned to the side to stand up. I headed toward the closet to put something on quickly and made my way out of the room, the door banging again.

"I'm coming." I walked toward the door and opened it, seeing Devrick's cousin standing there looking furious. "May I help you?" I asked him confused and with incredulity when he barged into our suite as if he owned the place.

"No, where is my cousin? We were supposed to meet this morning for breakfast and to talk about business but he never appeared. Where is he?" Magnus spoke angrily as he made his way toward our room. "Hey! You can't just barge in." I shouted after him just as Devrick walked out of the room, grabbing his cousin by his collar as he pinned him on the wall and growled threatening at him.

"Who gives you the right to come into my suite, barge in as if you own the place and disrespect my mate?" He gripped his collar tighter before pushing Magnus against the wall as he stepped away from him.

"I told you already, I won't invest in your company now leave." Devrick barked out at Magnus, growling at him as he pointed at the door. Magnus glared at me before he made his way toward the door and got out, slamming it closed on his way out.

I jumped slightly at that and he sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "Are you okay?" I nodded my head at him and sighed, "I'm sorry about that, my cousin is a bit persistent." Devrick told me as he tangled his fingers in his hair.

"It's okay, but why don't you work with him, isn't he your cousin? I feel...In my opinion I think, as a family you should help each other and you are so blessed to have a family and I don't know, maybe you guys have your problems but at the end of the day, when they aren't there you're going to regret it, I know I did."

Devrick walked toward me and pulled me into a hug, sniffing I wrapped my arms around his back as I closed my eyes briefly. His hands brushing my hair down as he kissed my forehead, "I'll think about it, you're right he is family and I should help him."

I nodded my head while sniffing, slowly pulling away from him. He tilted up my head and wiped under my eyes with his thumbs. "Do you know what happened? I don't remember anything except of the fever." I asked him as I glanced up at him and he gave me a short smile.

"You didn't have a fever. You were in heat." Oh shit, heat means pregnancy and he is going to get suspicious. "We had sex until we blacked out." I blushed at that, did we seriously have that much sex that we blacked out? I don't remember blacking out the first time I was in heat. "You have to be careful, We don't know if you're pregnant so just be careful."

I widened my eyes at that, shit. Scratch that, he's already talking pregnancy. This will end up bad. How am I going to tell him that I'm on birth control? I just nodded my head at him with a small smile. "Let's go downstairs to eat something."

We made our way toward the bathroom and brushed our teeth, laughing I put toothpaste on his nose. "Oh no you didn't." I squealed loudly, dashing toward the door but only for him to grab me by my waist smearing me with toothpaste.

"What? No, you are so dead!" I squirmed around and smeared toothpaste on his chest, laughing. "No, no!" He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly, smearing his chest against me. "No, why?" I glanced up at him with a pout.

"Because." He pecked my pout repeatedly and our lips brushing up and down against each other, his lips catching my top lip before going to my bottom lip, his thumbs brushing my jawline.
