"Hey Hinaka!" Haruki exclaimed running up beside me.
"Hey," I replied sulkily. The first year of torture nearing its end before we get a month break. It might not seem like long but because of all the new academy students coming in we have to start earlier so they can have us in and out in a supposed "quick four years".
"What's the big deal? We're almost out for a month," Haruki asked confused about the dark aura that hung around me.
"Oh, nothing special. I'm just thinking about my sword spirit!" I exclaimed with a fake smile. Haruki smiled back at me seeming to take the false words from my mouth.
"Well, I'm looking forward to our break, we could hang out more." He then said changing the subject back to the break.
"Oh yeah, we could," I replied still keeping my fake happiness, trying to repel the evils lurking around me trying to give away my dark thoughts.
"Well, I'm looking forward to it! See you around!" He grinned before jogging off to who knows where.
"Bye..." I grumbled as his form disappeared as it rounded a corner.

"So, you ready?!" Haruki asked excitedly with his sword drawn and held before him.
"Yea I am," I replied, holding my sword out in front of me.
"Just remember, no fatal wounds, just minor cuts and stuff," Haruki reminded me.
"Yea yea, now let's go!"I exclaim before charging at him slamming my sword against his. A loud clang sounded around us before I immediately took offensive, trying to get him on his heels. He fended off well, I couldn't get any cuts on him before he threw me off, forcing me on defensive as he tried to break through. Our duel lasted for quite awhile, my speed gave me an upper hand as my reflexes were quicker and my steps less clumsy.
"I think it's time to take it up a notch!" Haruki exclaimed hopping back a few steps, holding his sword up in front of himself. I only nod, knowing exactly what he was talking about.
"Lets get him... Umikara!" Haruki exclaimed, the air surrounding us becoming humid and moist. Water droplets began to from on Haruki's blade.
"I can already guess, you have a water base sword spirit," I scoffed. Haruki only nodded and replied, "That's correct, now it's your turn."
I return the nod, directing my attention to the sword I held before myself.
_Hey_You_Ready?_
Hell yea, I've been training for this.
"Let's take him down, Gurifin!" I roared, sand that managed to avoid the moisture whipped up around me and Haruki. I charged once again, confidence flowing through me. I'm going to show him, I am going to crush that bastard.
Haruki pointed his sword at me and shot pressured water at me, I didn't see it coming and was barely able to dodge out of the way. I narrowed my eyes and went back at him. His sword's water ability was out matching my earth.
Come on... This is our chance...
"COME ON!" I yelled angrily, slashing downward tearing Haruki's attire, causing a cut but none too major, a bit of blood still oozed out of the wound. Haruki frowned and began jabbing at me, tattering my clothes and causing many small cuts. I roared again in frustration as my speed seemed to leave me, my reflexes I trained the last few months seemed to shatter as I was soon on the ground breathing heavily. Minor cuts leaked blood as I sat on the dirt looking up at Haruki, as his sword pointed at the center of my head.
"You might want to cool off hot-head," Haruki stated before drenching me in ice cold water. I scowl unhappily, slowly getting up. Ignoring the small splinters of pain from the minor cuts.
All of a sudden I hear many footsteps running from behind me. But my confusion was soon resolved as I heard, "Way to go Haruki!"
I couldn't help but let a swath of hatred and darkness sweep over me as a small crowd formed around Haruki, all complimenting him for a "job well done". "Way to go you beat the shortie!" I hear one cheer. "You showed snowie who's boss!"
"Yea, he deserved it!"What did I do....?
"Hehehehehe that was so cool! You're amazing Haruki, you're so much better than that little runt!"
So what I'm short... You can't blame me...
"Let's go get you fixed up! I can't believe what a temper that little white hair could have!"
Again... I can't help I look like this...
"Let's just get going!"
They left me there, on the dirt, dripping water. Haruki didn't even say good match, he left me to rot. I see now, you betrayed our friendship. I could never think of being friends with you. Never again will we be friends, I swear.
