Soon after we finished our hotdogs and wandered around the gardens for a bit. Eli took the opportunity to kiss me whenever he could, even more so in the car to and from different attractions. We spent the whole day holding hands and kissing between looking at things.
He next took me to the Houdini museum which to start with I wasn't impressed with, but he made it more fun as we went along, popping out from behind exhibits and making me laugh with his facial expressions at various odd contortionist pictures.
Next was a small little museum that held a few odd things but Eli spent the whole time with his arms around my waist as I leant into his chest, turning around in the little alcove in the street to see everything. It was cute.
Our next stop was a light and sound experience that immersed us in the art it was displaying. It was an experience I'd never be able to describe or comprehend ever again. I have no idea how he found it.
The City Hall Station was probably the most impressive event of the day. It had been closed off for a long time and he'd managed to get us passes and a guide to tell us some of the history which was really interesting. This was probably the most 'me' part of the day even if the rest had been just as good and I hadn't stopped smiling and laughing since the Marilyn Monroe grate.
However, I'm not saying the Butterfly Conservatory wasn't amazing because with the floral skirt I was wearing, a couple of the butterflies landed on me and I couldn't help but squeal quietly which Eli chuckled at.
We'd just finished at the conservatory and were walking through Central Park hand-in-hand when we stopped on the top of Bow Bridge, leaning against the railing. Well, specifically, I was leant against the railing with Eli in front of me, his hands either side of me.
"Did you enjoy your day?" He asked.
"I did, thank you."
"You're welcome."
"You know I have to get back soon."
"I'm aware and when you were in the bathroom last, I rang our driver and he's gonna pick us up and another driver is gonna drive my car back so I can have you to myself and make out in the back of the car for three hours." He replied, making me blush heavily as I thought about what that would entail.
"As long as the barrier's up, I have no inhibitions" I whispered against his lips, ignoring the butterflies that had somehow found their way to my stomach. He pushed his lips to mine and started our last kissing session.
Eventually he pulled away and lead me to where the car was waiting for us, continuing our kissing when we were on the way. We had gotten a lot further throughout the day mainly because it was like we were putting a whole relationship into one day and were very aware of the deadline that was approaching so when things got a little heated in the back of the car, I was unwilling to stop it that quickly. I, however, did stop it when he wanted to take my top off.
"Nope. Stop." I said, pulling away from him and returning to my seat, blushing slightly at my unwillingness to do this with him but I was not doing anything more than making out in the back of a car.
"Hey, it's alright, I'm not going to make you do anything you don't want to." He said, taking my cheek and looking directly into my eyes, sincerely. He really knew how to convince me that everything was fine as I tended to panic about practically anything. Before he'd said that, I had been thinking that he was going to do something rash like chuck me out of the car or continuing doing what we were doing but I can see that that was an overreaction now. The way he was today, I couldn't imagine Eli ever doing that.
