Continuation...

He pulled back from kissing me on my bed and stared down at me, intensely.
"That might have been the most honest you've ever been with me." He whispered, flicking between gazing at each of the features on my face.
"I tell you a lot of things." I argued. I told him more than most people. Eli and Mallory were almost on an equal level, Mallory just above him
"Not your feelings though, not those deep-down ones that I know you hardly tell anyone, not even Mallory. Sometimes I think you don't even tell yourself so you don't have to worry about them." He told me. It was one of those moment where if I thought about it, I'd probably cry because of all the insecurities about myself that involved exactly that subject so I deflected.
"You're the same. I know hardly anything about you accept your mannerisms and personality." I replied, poking him in the chest. He was used to my deflections on these kinds of subjects by now. I could be extremely honest in the heat of an argument but other than that I didn't speak about those kinds of things, ever.
"That's all there is to me." He smiled. We really were so similar it was eerie at times, deflecting our own feelings so that we could keep in the good periods of time that we created.
"I highly doubt that." I said as he sat up, crawling off me.
"I'll take you to school today." He said, standing up and checking the time on my big wall clock which you could now see as the sun had come up.
"You know it's my busy day today." I replied, not moving as he tidied up the room around me. That was one of his little quirks when he had nothing to do.
"I'll take you to both of them. I've got some things that can be done in Boston and if all else fails, I can come and watch you swim."
"You really want to spend four hours in Boston when I'm busy for three of them?" I asked, turning onto my front, leaning my head on my hands.
"If I get to drive you anywhere, I'll be happy." He smiled, glancing at me on the bed as he ordered the school on the shelves above my desk.
"Is this some kind of way to reassure your masculinity?" I replied, raising my eyebrow at his cleaning.
"You could say that." He chuckled.
"Okay." I said, rolling off my bed to stand up. He was smiling widely when I looked at him again as I walked towards my closet to pick out my outfit. This was probably the most awake I'd ever been at this time in the morning and I was going to take full advantage of it and dress appropriately. I started at the rail closest to my door and made my way through. About five minutes later I got interrupted.
"You are a girl." Eli exclaimed from the doorway.
