The papers are hastily stuffed into my purse as I hear the ding of the elevator. The doors swing open, implying my need to rush and get in. I don't look where I am touching and clumsily push the 7th level button like a superficial idiot. I huff and wait for the doors to close before I even attempt to try that again.

My eyes drift slightly closed as I see the metal doors almost touch each other when they stop. I lazily eye down, recognizing a familiar pair of brown Mezlans that appear between them. To my disapproval the doors let the foot go, creating a path for the entire body of the person to be shown.

You have got to be kidding me.

He holds that same smirk he did only twenty minutes ago. I roll my eyes at his what-ever-kind-of gesture, trying to mask the fear that burned my throat.

He quickly moves into the elevator with me, his shoulders barely touching mine as he turns around, a large hand stuffed in his pocket. He pushes buttons 9th,8th,6th,4th and 2nd. (Just for a little kick). My eyes shoot open and dart towards him in disgust. We would have to stop, not five, but six times, thanks to my little mishap.

I run my hands through my hair. Just wanting this day to be over already.

"McKenzie, isn't it?" He asks in a spicy tone.

"Who's asking?" I snap back.

"That's a yes that could've came sooner. " He arrogantly says. "I'm Harry by the way, if you didn't know by now." I shake my head, trying to avoid the agonizing labor of entertaining his attempt at conversation.

No, shut up McKenzie.

I should not speak to him. I should not even give him the time of day. But my unspoken questions would just turn into me staring at him and that would not be happening again.

"How do you even know my name?" I ask puzzled. He quietly chuckles at himself, bringing his shoulders closer to his head.

"Well," He trails his word, delving into his pockets. "I heard you signing in at the front desk."

"I didn't see you."

He huffs. "You weren't supposed to."

My face grimaces. Then I remember what I had just learned. My eyes quickly migrate from his face and back. That beautiful boy.

GOSH HE IS BEAUTIFUL!

"So why did you go see Mr. Earlwind?"

My body freezes. Does he know? I try to calm my, more than likely, erratic breathing before looking into his eyes.

"Why? Are you keeping tabs on me now?" I speak as we hit the 7th floor. The people awaiting an elevator going up stare at us as we stand there awkwardly waiting for the doors to close. One dude even has the courage to wave at us and wink at me. I guess he is having a good day. Awesome. Because mine is obviously hugs and cookies too. I wave back as the door shuts.

"We have a..communication ." He smiles. "But you know, I don't like your tone. I think you need to simmer down a bit, I'm rarely ever this nice."

Rolling my eyes, I breathe in.

"Ok, I don't know what your deal is, but why you think it's okay to talk to somebody like that especially a lady but I advise you to check your life. And frankly, you need to watch where you're going with me. In more ways than one." I look away from him, pleased with my adult handling of the situation.

"A little bitter are we?" He huffs. "If you're interested, I have the perfect remedy for the tightest of the uptight. Just a little TLC in the needed areas and she's all better. That's actually why I pushed the amount of buttons I did. I'm keen to talk to you."
