I'm staring outside our window pane, at a two month later cloud, graciously appreciating these movers for their fast work, when a hand grabs my shoulder. I look back and recognize the face.
"Hi." He coos.
"Hi."
He sits with me, handing me a cup of tea. The American version. I smile, pulling my sleeve a little over my brand and kiss his lips, which (you can guess) are still healing.
So I bet you want to know what happened to rest of us.
Well...I keep calling Adele to talk to her, about anything and everything just helping to keep her mind off her brother's death at her father's hand. Alexander's business closed for good and now Harley is using that lot for his, now wife Marcella's wedding planning business.
Caesar finally became the boss of the restaurant and hired more workers he considered to be T.E.A.M players. Whatever that means. Macklemore and his lover live with Marie and ChiChi in Greece and word is their father is warming up to the idea of his son being gay.
I raided Ms. Tote's house to find all the letters she meant to send me. Occasionally, I smell her sweet scent-just keeping her memory close.
I haven't spoken to Susan in a while. I call to thank her for telling the Grecian police that she killed Charles in self defense to by us time and also to give her the same treatment as Adele. But she has changed her number. It also turns out that she is 6 months in remission. Well, wherever she is, whatever she's doing, I hope it makes her happy.
Marge keeps Peters at her house. Saying she'll tell him all she knows and helping him with the basics as he heals.
As for me and Harry, well...more than physical wounds need to be healed. He understands why I did what I did and I understand why he wants me to have no contact with his mom while he tries to find a way to fix their relationship. So anyway you put it, we have to start from scratch all over again. Mending relationships or ending them for good. Knowing that both options hurt like hell.
Suddenly, one of the men yell from outside.
"Mr. Styles, there's a lady here to see you. She won't tell me her name."
We both stare at each other, then grasp each other's hands as we walk out of the empty house. What we see is a belligerent Fi and another woman with a child, looks around the age of five. I peer at Harry who tries to control his taken aback face.
"Harry, why don't you come and get your son."
"Fi, what are you talking about." Harry calmly responds.
"Why are you doing this Fi? I thought we were over." I say.
"I'm doing this so idiots like him don't get the power to just scadaddle off when they've had their fill. He needs to be brought to justice. And since Susan was to weak to do this...it's my turn to get justice-for him and me! This poor boys needs a father!"
"A good father. A there father. I don't want just checks every month. You can't just forget about us like we never existed. He wants to meet you, see you, be around you. That's something can't money buy. And we're not something you can just buy off." The woman replies, emotional.
Gazing over to Harry, I now know not to jump to any conclusions, so I ask...
"Harry is he...is he your son?"
And when only silence fills my ears, I rip my hand from his and with incredible caution and reluctancy, he gazes back at me. They brimful in regret.
Oh shit.
