Raven

I had just about finished re-wrapping the Angel boys arm when it his partner arrived, her hair which had obviously been dyed to bronzey-golden hue was glowing like a halo in the mid-afternoon sun.

"I forgot to ask you - what's your names?" I questioned, glancing up at the boy who's eyes had just met the girl's.

"None of your business." The Angel girl spits, flicking a strand of hair out of her face, a scowl plastered on her tanned skin.

"Don't be so rude," The boy lectured, shooting her a look before turning his focus back to me, a smile appearing on his face, "I'm Axel Tate. And that's my friend - Pepper Swikasea."

"It's pronounces Swe-ka-see-ya." She confirmed before turning to me with a nasty sneer on her face, "I repeated it as I heard Demon's were too dumb to understand pronunciation."

Axel rolls his azure eyes, clearly unimpressed nor amused,

"Was there any need for that, Pepper?" His hisses,

"Yes - there was. I can't have a random Demon tainting my name - I'm a future Royal." She barks, nostrils flared in anger.

"Go on a walk, Pepper. Calm yourself." Axel suggests, his gaze flickering from the door before returning to me again.

"Fine." Pepper huffs, unimpressed about how Axel wasn't taking her side and stamping off, throwing the door open wide and slamming it shut with a bang as she went through it - the whole hut shaking.

"Sorry about her - she's in a mood." Axel consoles, eyes soft and caring.

"No-no it's okay. I probably shouldn't have intruded on your hut in the first place. I could make up for it by helping to make tea?" I suggest, my hand grazing his as I went to grab my dagger which had been lying on the table.

"I couldn't possibly ask you to do anything more.. I mean, you fixed my shoulder." He grins, eyes twinkling as he shrugs his shoulder lightly.

"Honestly, its the least I could do." I assure, standing up and making my way to their make-shift kitchen and pouring some water into the kettle.

"No - I insist, just relax."

I laugh, not bothering to comply as I switch the kettle on.
