Kylie
I did not wake up to the sound of birds chirping as Danielle cuddled into me nor did I wake up to a rather sleepy Danielle, hair in crazy ringlets around her face, offering me her best morning smile before pecking my cheek and asking me how my night's sleep was but I instead woke up to Raven who had her hands on her hips with her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, Danielle still fast asleep.
"R-raven," I stuttered, feeling my hands start to turn clammy as her gaze flickers from me to Danielle, "I-I- um- I can't explain but-""Oh hush, Ky, you don't need to explain." Raven laughed, her confused expression turning into one of vague amusement as she covers her mouth whilst she laughs, the corners of her eyes crinkling up slightly, "You're in love."
"Um.." I mumbled, hiding my cheeks which were now heated and probably the darkest shade of crimson one would ever be able to see in Danielle's mane of hair, "We're not.. in love.. exactly. At least, not yet."
"Oh." Raven stopped laughing, tilted her head to the side in curiosity, "You're not?"
"Not yet." I clarified, offering a reassuring smile before I process something, "You called me Ky."
"Yeah, I suppose I did." Raven shrugs, before she returned my smile with a mega-watt grin. The kind only she could pull off properly, "Is that okay?"
"Yeah, yeah - of course." I replied rapidly, sounding rather eager to have a nickname which Raven picked up on, setting her off on another round of laughter from my sheer excitement which causes me to blush once again, "I've just never had a nickname before."
Once again, Raven stops laughing, turning quite curious again,
"Have you not?" She asked, confused before her expression cleared into a happy one, "Well I guess I'll be the first nick-name-giver you've had then."
"Yeah, I guess you will."
