Raven
Ever since I was little, I always admired my mother. She was beautiful clad with waist length auburn hair and beautiful green eyes. She had taken over the Demon Kingdom from her mother, Dorothy Graham, at the tender age of 15 and had ruled over her subjects with great care and love. My mother, Willow Marshall, was the embodiment of a good Queen and leader. She looked after her people as though they were her own kids that she had brought up ever since they had been ever so little.
However, in later years, it proved that my mother's love could not be the only thing that was going to sustain them. The people needed heirs to the throne and a King to rule by my mothers side. They expected her to follow the age-old tradition of letting your people choose your partner. By my mother had already fallen in love. With Ryan Duran. An Angel.
This wouldn't have been problematic if my mother hadn't been a Demon. Angel - Demon relationships were not allowed. They had been banned by the ancestors and we were to obey the path laid out for us by our subjects and elders. That was the law and the law was what we were suppose to follow.
My mother refused. She announced publicly that she was engaged to Ryan Duran, sparking an uproar with the citizens who were furious that a Queen could be so ignorant to marry an Angel even though she knew it was wrong.
Queen Marshall stood her ground - she loved her fiance and there could be no one who could make her love him less.
Then, a few months after their wedding which was held in a little chapel with the public watching from their homes on the hologram that was being broadcast-ed across the country, they had a little girl. Robyn Marshall. The first heir to the Demon throne.
