Kylie
Raven was still reading that book by the time I got the wood and had almost reached camp. I could see her, lips parted slightly as she read the words from the page softly, her voice barely a whisper. She looked happy, her dark hair which had been tied up in a messy ponytail on top of her head cascaded down her hair, wisps of it coming out from the hair tie and curling around her head, her green eyes scanning every word of every line. Her pink lips curled themselves into a small smile before her eyes glittered in amusement as she tilted her head back, laughter bubbling from her mouth.
As I attempt to make my way back to her, I stepped on a twig, causing it to snap in half, startling Raven. She shot up from her place, as her eyes scanned the top of the page where the page number would be before closing it quickly, placing it on top of her bag which had been sitting next to her as she unsheathed her sword from her belt,
"Who's there?" She called, eyes scanning the clearing as she swivelled around on one foot.
"Just me." I yelled back, putting a hand up in mock surrender as I smiled, "Pretty good reflexes there."
Raven smiles for a minute before pushing her sword back into her belt,
"Thanks."
