"Go on the Ferris wheel with me (Y/N)!" My boyfriend of three months, Luke, whined while dragging me towards the giant ride. Today he wanted to take me on a date of my choice, so, being me, I chose a themepark. Romantic meals were waaay too cliche and fancy, and we just wanted to have fun.

We walked up to the old, grumpy ride owner and handed him our tickets. "No funny business up there, kids" he grumbled as he pointed to the carriage that he wanted us to go in. "Aye aye, captain" I muttered, earning a smirk from Luke. I just grinned and hopped into the carriage, pulling him next to me. Luke had a massive smile on his face, and it made me giggle. He was too cute.

Our carriage gave a shudder before moving slowly off the ground. I gasped at the sudden movement and placed my hands on the safety bar.

"Calm down, babe" he chuckled before placing his hands on top of mine. I breathed out slowly and rested my head on his shoulder. He layed his head on top of mine and yawned. "This is nice, isn't it (Y/N)?" I nodded, yawning also.

We were both watching the beautiful view. The sun was slowly setting and it made everything look really pretty.

"Hey, Luke?" I whispered. He looked down at me and kissed my forehead. "Yeah gorgeous?" I gulped and quickly said the three words I'd been wanting to say for the past month.

"I love you."

For a second it was silent, and I instantly regretted saying it.

"(Y/N)...I love you too." Luke said quietly, much to my suprise.

We were silent for the rest of the ride, just enjoying the moment.

When we finally hopped off, he wrapped his arms around my waist, and I instantly placed mine around his neck. We just stood there, embracing eachother.

"I love you."
