ch. 5

> Ari's POV <
as kevin's hands were on my waist, I placed my hands on his cheeks.

his hazel eyes were burning into my soul, as he crashed his lips into mine. man, his lips are so soft. his grip on my waist got tighter, pulling me onto his lap. i got on his lap and wrapped my legs around his waist, and my arms around his neck. our breathing got heavier as his lips made their way to my neck.

i played with his hair as he kissed and sucked on my neck. i felt his warm hands going up beneath my shirt.

"kev-" i whispered.
"yes baby.." he whispered back into my ear. he left a trail of kisses on my jawline then made his way back to my lips. i slowly started to grind, making him groan.

*knock, knock, knock*

another make out session ruined.
i removed myself from kevin and fixed my shirt. as i walked over to the door, he said, "i think we should continue later."
i turned around and smiled at him, as he winked at me.

i opened the door and my bestfriend jade stood there, with her arms crossed.

"hey J"
"girl how come you didn't come to school?" she asked.
"um, my mom left today for a business trip so I stayed home. just wanted to be with her before she left." I informed.
jade nodded, "oh, can I come in? I ditched school for your ass."
"um I actually-" i was cut off by her pushing her way passed me into my house.

"who is this?!" she yelled.

i closed the front door and turned around to see her pointing at kev, who was scratching the back of his head.

"...that's my neighbor" i said, "and he's new to our school."

"so did this kid give you those hickies?!" she then pointed at me with her eyes on my neck.

"kev you gave me hickies?!" I yelled at him with my eyebrows furrowed.

"what the fuck." jade said quietly, plopping herself onto the couch, "so what are you guys, like, dating?"

kevin looked at me, and I looked at jade.

I shook my head, no.

she sighed, then threw her backpack to the side.

I heard more knocks coming from the door. I turned and opened it again, to see devin and daniel.

"jade what are they doing here?" i asked.
"well hello to you too" daniel said.
i rolled my eyes and let them in. they took a seat next to kevin on the couch, and i took a seat next to jade.

i noticed the boys giggling and whispering to each other like little girls.

"my boy did some work." devin said, referring to my hickies.

"you guys are stupid." i laughed then added, "so did you all plan to ditch?"

they all nodded their heads.

"oh rebels." kevin said, causing us to laugh.

*later on, we ate chocolate ice cream and watched movies.*

*8:30 PM*
the only people with me at my house were kevin, daniel, and devin. but kevin was the only one awake.

"kev?" i said as i took a seat next to him.
"yes beautiful?" he responded, as he sat up.

i could feel myself blushing.

"isn't your mom worried right now?" i asked.

"nah, i explained to her everything with your mom and the business trip. she agreed that you shouldn't be alone." he said, "imma stay with you for now."

"thanks." I smiled again.

he's so cute.

"aw you're cute too." kevin said.

"huh?" i said, confused.

"you just said, 'he's so cute'" he giggled. even his giggle is cute.

"i said that out loud? oh my god." i covered my face with my hands. i just humiliated myself.

"hey don't be embarrassed," he removed my hands from my face, "cutie."

he held my hands and brought me closer to him, "we should finish what we started earlier." he smirked.
