I know it's been a few days since I've written anything in a while.  I've been kinda busy with school and whatnot.  But here it is.  Hope you like it!

Jesse's POV

I was getting really ticked off.  This new girl named Jess moved into the house next to ours and now everybody at school thinks we're twins.  Sure, we may look alike, and even sort of have the same name, but ... ugh.

I finally couldn't take it anymore and found myself knocking on her door.  Jess opened it and frowned, "Hey, twin."

I shook my head, "Please, just ... No."

Jess smirked, "Yeah, it's pretty annoying.  So, what's up?"

I sighed, "There's gotta be some way to fix this."

Jess rolled her eyes, "Sure, I'll change my name to Ivy and you change yours to Chadwick."

I furrowed my brows, "I'm being serious."

Jess leaned on her doorway and crossed her arms, "Any ideas, Sherlock?"

I slapped my hand on my head, "No.  That's why I came to you.  We need to fix this together."

Jess grinned, "I don't see what the problem is.  I mean, yeah, it's getting annoying.  But these are other high schoolers like us.  They'll laugh at us for a while, and then forget in a few weeks ... Tops."

I smiled, "In a few weeks, huh?  That'll be during Halloween."

Jess raised a brow, "You mean that day where kids come to our doors and practically mug us of our sweets?"

I rolled my eyes, "C'mon, we all did that when we were younger."

Jess scoffed, "What's your point, Sherlock?"

I smirked, "I have an plan.  It's gonna take awhile, but it's gonna be done by October 31."

Jess's POV

I really had no clue what Sherlock was up to, but I hoped it was good.  I don't know why I'm such a jerk with Jesse; I guess I just hold it against him that everyone picks at us at school.  There was still a little more than a week until Halloween, but I could tell that Jesse's gears were rolling in his head when I saw him at school.  "Hey, Sherlock," I said as I walked passed him in the hallway.

Jesse didn't reply, and just nodded.  I was actually getting kind of worried.  What if someone was bullying him again?

School had just started about a month ago, but I couldn't count how many times Jesse and I were tortured by the other kids.  I caught up to Jesse when we left from school, "J-Jesse?"

He turned around and gave me a small smile, "First time you've ever used my name."

I frowned, "Yeah, okay, Sherlock.  What's going on with you?"

Jesse turned away and faced the sidewalk again, "I'm just thinking."

I scoffed, "Thanks, Captain Obvious.  Seriously, what's wrong?  Was someone..?"

Jesse sighed, "No.  I just want some time alone, okay?  I'm kinda ... Busy."

I raised a brow, "Huh.  I've never heard those words come out of your mouth."

Jesse smirked, "Just be patient.  October 31 is near."

I rolled my eyes, "What are you, some prophet?"
