It had been a year or so since Jack's last appointment. Jack still had dreams about him. Jack still believed that he was real, and that he wasn't just something that Jack had made up to help him cope with the stresses of reality.
"Danny is real." He would say.
He would repeat it like a mantra; over and over and over.
Because he feared, that if he were to stop, he might never believe it again.
