Chapter 5

Star pov

I follow everyone outside. I look around at the decorated yard.

"Star do you even know who baby your holding?" dad said. I kiss his nose over and over again. (I do that) he shrieks. I see my mate looking at me, arms crossed. Aw, he jealous of the baby.

"Nope." I said popping the p. A girl with blonde and brown hair walk up to me,grabbed him out my arms. The baby puts his head down in her shoulder. I pout.

Mom walked over and patted my shoulder. I lay my head on her shoulder.

"Dad I want a younger sister or brother!" I yell at him. He pointed to Bella, I roll my eyes.

"Another one!" I said. He shrugs. I gasp.

"That means yes right?" I said to mom. She looked me up and down out the corner of her eye then said no.

"Come help me get the food out the car." mark said. I look up after that.

"I get the cake!" I said. I skipped to the car and looked at the cake.

It was a chocolate cake but I could smell the vanilla in the middle it had strawberries around the edge. It said happy birthday star in the middle and had a shooting star under star. I take it out and walk back to the yard. I put it on the table and crack my back.

"St-Star don't move." mom said. She was in front of me and looking behind me face pale. I look at my mate, which I just learned his name was Xander. He was shifted into a big black Wolf, with twenty or so wolves behind him.

What's happening? I asked. Mom looked at me.

Rouges. She said plainly. I turn around, just in time because a wolf ran at me. They lucky werewolves heal fast. I jump out the way,not really just stepped out the way.

I get my cake and sit down, what I'm not about to waste this perfectly good cake and like I said in chapter four I wasn't a fan of getting mad. I take a strawberry and hold it out to them, when they didn't get it I shrugged.

Star what the hell are you doing?! Xander said in the mind link. I cross my legs.

Eating my cake. I said. He growl at me to move. I say no.

A man walk to the front of the little pack in front of use.

"We just wanted to say hello to the new Luna, no harm in that,is it?" he said smiling with that dirty tooth smile. I laugh,if you see a man with black and yellow teeth trying to act bad you would to.

Xander growl at him. I just sat there, not knowing what was with these two packs.

"Get out our territory, I thought you learned the hard way when we took Gloria from you." the girl that took my baby away from me said, she looks like Xander dad a little hmm..

The man growl at her his eyes turned black then he turns into a medium sized gray wolf. I just sat my lost ass down in the seat.

He runs to the girl, the girl was about to shift but was not fast enough and the wolf jumped on her making the baby fly. A brown wolf moves from behind Xander and attended the wolf that was on the girl.

I turn into my wolf,jump up and catch him,i hit the ground on all four. I run to the house and was surprised to see kids from a couple days old to seven-eight teen years old. I give him to on of the older ones,look at the kids one last time then turn to head and leave.

When I got to the back of the house......lord have mercy it was like people trying to get to the last drop of water in the world,ya that crazy.

I look around and spot something no person wants to see, a old laying on the ground dead. I look at the woman closely, mom. I run up to her and lay my head on her stomach. I whimper.
