Xanders POV

I get out of bed because I can't go to sleep, knowing star isn't right here with me.

I look at the time 2:36, I go down stairs and walk to the living room. Troy was all laid out on the couch so I go to the den. I sit down and turn on the T.V.

I turn on a hunting Chanel and sit down not even watching what was on.

Ever heard of you're right hand and lotion? Hunter said. I tell him to shut up then realize..

Hmm, that's actually not a good idea, Hunter.

🌟 POV

"Star get up, we're here." I hear my aunt sandy say. I blink a couple of times before yawning and sitting up. I look out the window to the two story house.

The door opens and out walked grama and granddaddy. I jumped out the car and ran to them.

I could tell by the look on their faces, I was the last person they would expect to jump out of the back seat of my aunt and uncle's car.

I jump on my granpa's(who, if I may add, didn't look a day over 60), and hug him. A tear going down my eye.

"Star!?" He said. He put his arms around my back and hugged me back. I let go and wipe my eyes.

"Don't​ think I forget about you grama." I said as I squish her in a hug. My grama was a lot like X's mom.

"Bout to say." She said uncrossing her arms. She pats me once in the back then pushes me away.

"Hungry?" She asked.

"No, I ate a salad b-" but my grandma shushed me.

"You telling me that you got full of a salad​?" She said, I gasp and look at her in disbelief.

"Of cour-no, I don't." I said putting my head down. She takes my arm and we walk up the porch.

"I just got finished cooking some turkey necks with some rice and corn. (If you black, this one of the BEST dinner food you could ask for 😂💦👅❤🍴)

I wipe my mouth. When she opens the door we walk to the dinning room. I stop when I see my other aunt and uncle, my three cousins and their mates, except for one.

"STARRR!!!!!!" My younger cousin said. She jumped across the table landing on me, taking both of us to the floor.

"Tamika, get off me." I said laughing and trying to push her off me. I get up and brush myself​ off.

"It's​ been forever!" She said. I smile at her. My uncle Shawn got up and pulled me into a huge. (My real uncle's name by the way)

I laugh and hug him back. My aunt Francis gets up and hug me. (My real aunt's name by the way)

"Let me look at you!" She said letting me go, stepping back and looking me over.

"Thickness has to run in the family." She said. I look at my aunt, and Tamika.

"Has to be, or we eating to much cornbread and greens." I said. We laugh.

"Girl bye, you're never not eating enough of that." She said. She ushes me to the table so I go and sit beside Jr.*from the funarul*

I see his mate or girlfriend grab his hand. Girl, don't nobody want yo man!! Blaze said. Right. I said.

"So, Jr, Zay introduce." I said. The look at the girls.

"This my baby Hope." Zay said. She smiles​ at me and I smile back.

"My soon to be baby mana, Kesha." Jr said. I chock on my turkey neck.

"So who now?" I said. He rolled his eyes.

"She 4 months." He said. I look up at uncle Shawn, he shrugged.

"Oh, yeah?" I said. Jr looked at me. Didn't he just turn 19?!?! I say in my head. They must been talking for a while.

"Why you make that face?" He said. I look around to see everyone looking at me.

"Who me, did I make a face?" I said. Everyone nodded.

"Talking to myself." I said. I pick up my cup and drink some of the kool-aid out of it. (Ghetto I know)

"I'm sorry I can't help but to ask, where did you get you're contact(s) from?" Kesha said. I point to my left eye, and she nods.

"Well, kind of sort of, not really, but technically, I was born with them." I said. I kind of got a tiny bit awkward after that. I kind of had this filling she knew my parents were dead, 1, she's dating my cousin so I'm pretty sure he told her about me, 2, I'm pretty sure she was at the funarul, 3 when I said that I practically saw the light bulb cut on in her head.

"Really,How?!" She said in fack amazement. I hm like I'm thinking of a way to put it.

"I would tell you, but since you already know, then what's the use?" I said picking up my cup of kool-aid.

"Who wants dessert!?" My grandma said coming from out the kitchen with my aunt, uncle, cousins, and Grandpa.

She looks around at everyone, then frown. I look up at her and smile.

"What you cook grama?" I asked. She smiled and put the dirt cups on the table. I laugh.

"Grama, grandaddy, I have to ask y'all something." I said taking my spoon and started to mix the chocolate pudding and Oreo cookies together, since I already ate the gummy worms.

"Adout wha"? She said. I slowly twist my spoon around, and look up at her. She looked up at me with a smile, but when it stayed quiet and I just kept staring at her, the smile vanished and she looked down and put her spoon in the cup, knowing this was about mom.

I get up and walk out the room to the living room. I hear chairs scrap against the floor and my grandma and grandpa walked in.

They​ sit beside me on the long couch. I stayed quiet for about two minutes until I spoke.

"What I'm about to ask, you have to tell me the truth, and the whole story, okay?" I said looking at them.

What are you going to ask? Crystal and blaze said.

I didn'tanswer them.

"Okay, we promise, right?" My grandma said looking at my Grandpa. He nods.

"Of course." He said.

I sigh. "Was mom a princess?"
