Star the girl that was special in every way,loved to help and always had a smile on her face,but behind that smile was a girl lost on the world with out her parents or someone to wake up bes...
"Star, dinners ready!!" X mom yelled. I roll around before getting out.
I slowly walk out the room and into the kitchen. When I see no one in there, I go to the dinning room. I stop when I see my aunt and uncle and my three cousins, their kids.
I slowly walk to where Xander was sitting and slowly sat down. His mom sits the two foot pan she was holding in the center of the best table then sits down. Then flower comes in and puts a plate, spoon, fork, and knife in front of everyone. Then she reached for the lid of the pan and took the lid off.
I look at (food up top) with wide eyes. That was a lot of food, that wasn't all. Flower comes in with five male worries behind her. They set a bowl of salad and butter in front of everyone.
Then the all bowed and then left. I sigh. All this food for only twelve people. My aunt, uncle, there three kids, Xander, me, his parents, his sister Troy and KC.
We said a little pray before digging in. I eat my salad in piece while everyone else was talking away.

I grab my water and take a sip. I put the glass down and sigh. X mom take a big spoon and gives everyone two things from the middle. I look at mines, wide eyes.
Is that a tintical?! I say to myself. I stare at it then cut my eyes to the door. Out the corner of my eye I see Xander giving me a smug look.
"What's wrong, never ate octopus before?" He said. I spit out my water I was drinking. I hit my chest two times.
"No, actually I haven't." I said. He takes it, dips it in the butter and put it to my mouth.
"Here." He said. I was about to say no, put he quickly put it in before I could say so, shocking me. (Nasty😐😂)
I chew and swallow. (I never ate octopus before so idk how it tastes) (nasty 😐😂)
"Sooooooo?" His sister said. I give her a little smile. When she turns around I switched water around in my mouth to get the butter tastes out.
"Why are we eating octopus?" I say. His mom shrugged.
"Japanese people tend to eat crazy stuff." She said. I nod eating my salad, until what she just said hit me.
"Your Japanese?!" I said. She look at me before noding. What?!
I pat my heart. B-But she looks- I couldn't even get the words out. I clear my throat and stand up.
"Excuse me." I said. I turn and walk towards the boot until my uncle said something that made me stop.
"The family reunion is next week, well appreciat it if you could make it." He said. It was quiet not one sound. I turn back in look him in the eyes, I saw my dad's eyes which mad me get a soft spot.
