Star looked at her grandparents while they just sat there looking at her, their mouths opening and closing like a fish.
"Who?" Her Grandma said. Star looked at her and rolled her eyes.
"This is serious, was she?" She said. Her Grandma sigh before getting up and going to the glass cabinet that had pictures of her children, and takes out a picture.
"Well, I wouldn't call her that.... well......kind of.....how should I put this?" She said going back over to sit beside her husband.
"Technically she is..you are since I'm getting old and no one can be in charge with something this important, unless they're gifted." She said. Star looks at her like she's crazy.
"I don't know if I should take what she's saying serious, or not." She said. Her grama rolled her eyes.
"She's serious." Her grandad said. Star looks at him then sigh. She stands up.
"Well what, I already have to much on my plate, can this wait until tomorrow, I'm kind of sleepy?" She said. Her grandparents look at each other before shrugging.
"Fine, you know where the guest room is." Her Grandma said. Star kissed them booth on the cheek before going to the kitchen and telling them goodnight before heading up stairs.
Her Grandma puts the picture down on the table and leaned her head on her husband's shoulder.
"Sandy you an't slick, get you ass from around the corner." Her grandad said. Star's aunt walked out and into the living room to sit on the chair, grabbing the picture.
"I don't think she's ready." Sandy said. Her mother rolled her eyes.
"Duh, she didn't know, plus she needs training." Her dad said. They fell quiet.
"I never meant to lie, I feel bad for keeping her away from us." Sandy said. Her dad sigh.
"For the last time, you didn't lie, I call it protection." Her mom said.
" I don't see how me telling her that her own family couldn't take care of her is taking care of her." Sandy said.
"If you didn't, do you think she would've found her mate?" Her mom said, sandy shakes her head.
"Do you think we could have had gave her an easy calm life?" Her dad said. Sandy truthfully shook her head no.
"Exactly, you did her a favor, she's just not seeing it how we do." They aid at the same time. She nods her head.
Stars grandma smiled softly when she heard the faint sound of a door close up stairs.

X POV"Fuck!" I yelled as jump out the bed again and walk to the kitchen. I've slept plenty of times without anyone beside me, why should this be any different?
She'll never trust us again, not like she used to. Hunter said, surprisingly serious. Fuck you. He said.
"Why not?" A say as I grab the hotpocket from it's box and opening it.
Carter. He said. I stiffen again then throw the hotpocket at a picture of a flower covered hill on the wall, making it shatter in pieces and fall.
"FUCK!!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. My parents, my sister and Troy, and some warriors come running in eyes the color of their wolves. They look around and when they see the hotpocket, and the picture they look at me like I'm crazy.
"THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!"My dad, sister and Troy said at the same time the warriors said,"ALPHA XANDER, WHERE'S THE THREAT?!?!"and the same time my mom said,"DID YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THEM SHIT'S COST?!?!" everyone looked at her, she be the only one.
"Nothing." I said as I head out the kitchen and up the stairs. I hear my mom start talking shit.
"That rude as mutherf**k an't even bother to pick this shit up!" She said. I hear the sound of glass being swept before closing the door. A minute or so passed until my dad walked in.
"Damn, ever heard of knocking?" I said, he scuffs.
"What's wrong Xander?" He said. I pit my hand over my eyes and just lay there.
"I'm not leaving until I her a answer." I sigh knowing it's true. So wonder my parents are in a good relationship.
"I'm mad-" but my dad cuts me off.
"Duh, I figured that out." He said. I grown and finish telling him.
"I'm mad because Jamie brought up........Carter." I said. It was quiet until my dad got up.
"I can only tell you one thing." He said as he walked over to the door and opens it.
"What?" I said, wanting some old school advice, sike.
"Get used to that lotion and you're right hand, you're gonna need it." He said before walking out. I groan and turn on to my face.
Old man's truthing. Hunter said. I groan again and cut the link of.
