~~~Nate~~~
After all that fuss over some stupid bacon I was exhausted.
I walked back to the Aphrodite cabin and opened the front door. When you first step into the cabin you're in a long beautiful perl hallway. Their were 5 doors on either side of the hallway that led to different dorm rooms. Every door on the right went into a girls dorm room and every door on the left led into a boys dorm room. Everything was pink, gold or white. Each room was decorated with georgous flowers and jewels. I hated it so much.
At the end of the hall was the bathrooms. I could see light coming from both the men's and women's room. Also a lot of hair dryers and girls talking about different ways to curl your hair and makeup trends to try out. I could smell an unearthly amount of cologne and more hair dryers coming from the men's room.
Oh great. My siblings are up.
I walk down the hallway and to the third door on the left side when I hear a voice from behind me say,
"Oh Nate! You're here I never see you in the mornings!" A sweet voice says.
I turn around and look down at a girl, the same age as me, with a velvet pink t-shirt that says Girl on it in a swirly font and white letters. She wore white shorts and holographic sandals with it. Her brown hair was tied into tight space buns on the top of her hair and she had pink eye makeup and glitter down her cheek bones.
Yeah, there's a reason for that. I think to myself. But I just raise my eyebrows a bit and say, "hey Sydney..."
She smiles widely at me with her bright pink lips, "you look so cute today! I love your.... sweatshirt! It totally gives off the, I'm emo and I hate everyone aesthetic!"
"Um... thanks. I just kinda tossed it on... I wasn't trying to look good..." I mumble quietly.
"Haha, no kidding." A voice says from behind her. A tall boy with big muscles and clearly styled blonde hair steps out of the men's bathroom. He grins at me and I roll my eyes. Mike. "I mean, come on little bro. You gotta try a little. You're a son of Aphrodite after all. What do you think mom would say if she came here and saw what you've done to your hair? Dying it black, really little dude?" He chuckles.
Mike wasn't nessisarily a bad guy, neither was Sydney. They were just extremely annoying.
"Hey, I got some concealer with my stuff, if you want I can lone it to you dude, help cover up some of those freckles. They kinda mess up your whole leave me alone look. They just make you adorable looking. They worked great with your old hair though, you should dye it back." He chuckles, messing up my hair.
I shrug his hand off, "can you guys leave me alone please? I just want to grab my book and I'm out of here. I don't need a lecture on how to look good, I don't want to look good. In fact I'm purposely trying to look bad so please leave me alone." I say, turning to go back inside my room. I look back at him before leaving "oh and Mike, your concealer doesn't match your skin tone. It just makes you look like your skin is peeling off."
I open the dorm room door and shut it behind me. Good grief am I ever going to be able to escape the crazy people in this cabin? I walk past the rest of my brothers in the dorm room, some asleep but most of them are just picking out an outfit for today. I grab my book from off my bed and walk back to the door. I wait before I open it.
"Is my skin really that blotchy?" I hear Mike's voice say.
"Don't worry big guy, I have some that will match your skin better. Come with me." I hear Sydney's voice say.
