"heya kid," Sans greets me. I'm standing in front of the skeletons once again. However, there's only a piece of paper between us this time.

"HUMAN!!! I HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR..." Papyrus cuts himself off, looking annoyed. "SANS!! WHERE'S THE PUZZLE!!!"

He gestures to the crumpled paper, slightly damp from the snow. "it's right there. on the ground." Looking over to me, he winks. "trust me. there's no way they can get past this one."

Bending down, I pick up the "puzzle". I didn't know what to expect from Sans, but a kids' word search definitely wasn't it. Looking over it, I find "giasfclfebrehber", but I don't have the patience for words searches, so I put it back down.

"SANS!!! THAT DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Papyrus yells as I leave the word search behind.

"whoops," Sans says unapologetically. "i knew I should have used today's crossword instead."

"WHAT?! CROSSWORD?!" his brother yells, shocked. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT!!" Quieter, he tells us, "IN MY OPINION... JUNIOR JUMBLE IS EASILY THE HARDEST."

Surprised, he says, "what? really, dude?  that easy-peasy word scramble?" Sans grins. "that's for baby bones."

Papyrus looks over at him in disbelief. "UN. BELIEVABLE." He turns to me, shouting, "HUMAN!!! SOLVE THIS DISPUTE!"

"Oh!" I say, surprised that he asked me for my opinion. "Well... I guess crosswords are a little bit harder," I tell him siding with Sans.

"YOU TWO ARE WEIRD!" Papyrus responds. "CROSSWORDS ARE SO EASY. IT'S THE SAME SOLUTION EVERY TIME. I JUST FILL ALL THE BOXES IN WITH THE LETTER 'Z'... BECAUSE EVERY TIME I LOOK AT A CROSSWORD... ALL I CAN DO IS SNORE!!!" he laughs.

"But... that's not really..." I try to tell him, but before I can finish, he walks away. Sans looks over at me and shrugs.

"papyrus... finds difficulty in interesting places. yesterday he got stumped trying to 'solve' the horoscope," he tells me with a small grin. "whelp, come on, kid, we need to get going," he says as he walks away. I stand there, looking at his back, wondering if he meant for me to walk with him or just to continue.

Stopping, he looks back and calls to me with a smirk, "are you coming or what?"

"Uh, yeah!" I call back, jogging to catch up with him. He winks at me when I get to him, and I blush. "I, uh, I didn't know you wanted to walk with me."

He shrugs again, and says, "i thought it'd be easier than just talking here and there." He looks over to me. "plus, i'll save my breath by not saying 'see ya later' so much," he says, smiling. "even though i don't have any lungs."

Laughing, I tell him that he really is a lazybones.

A/N Sorry this short little chapter took so long guys. I know I keep saying that I've been busy, but I've been trying to get my grades up in time for report cards, and stuff like that. Plz forgive me.
