2. Enter Sylvian! The Angel Deck!

Aki presents this week's school newspaper to Waku and Evrim.

Waku: Whaaaaaa-? 99% of the school duels?

Aki: *nods* In fact, only you and some other kid said they don't.

Waku: Wow, I'm really in the minority.

Aki: Why don't you duel though?

Waku: I don't want to get made fun of.

Aki: I think it'd be really cool if we could duel.

Waku: Sorry, not gonna do it, Aki.

Aki: Alright.

The bell rings.

Evrim: Let's go, we'll be late for the first class.

The three of them enter their class. The teacher then comes in with a new student.

Teacher: Hello. This is a student who had just moved here and transfered to our school.

Sylvian: Hi. I'm Sylvian Anten.

Aki stands up.

Aki: WHAAAAAAAT?!?!?

Teacher: Aki!

Aki: Sorry. Uh... You're Sylvian Anten?

Sylvian: Yeah.

Aki: You got into the Top 4 Best Duelists of New York a few months ago.

Sylvian: Heh, yeah. My friend Erik beat me in the semi-finals.

Waku: You follow all those tournaments?

Aki: Don't YOU?

Waku: ... No.

Teacher: Well Sylvian, there's a seat over there. You can sit there.

After the class:

Aki: Hey, Sylvian!

Sylvia: Hey.

Aki: So uh....Can we duel?

Sylvian: Duel?

Aki: Yeah. I've always wanted to duel with one of the bests but... None of them actually lived in this town.

Sylvian: Alright. Let's do it.

Evrim and Waku walk towards them.

Evrim: What's going on?

Aki: Guys, guess what? Sylvian is gonna duel me.

Sylvian puts on his duel disk.

Sylvian: Ready when you are.

Aki: Ready.

Sylvian/Aki: DUEL!

Evrim(thinking): (One of the best in New York, huh? This could be fun)

Sylvian: I'll go first. Draw! I summon Winged Angel, in Attack position.

Winged Angel Stats: 1600 Attack, 1500 Defense.

Sylvian: Then I activate the magic card: Heaven Wings! An Angel monster equiped with this card cannot be destroyed by non-Angel cards, as long as I pay 100 Life Points per each turn I keep this activate. I can choose to destroy it at any moment. Turn End.

Sylvian's Life Points fall to 3900.

Aki: Cannot be destroyed by non-Angel cards?!?!? Draw! I summon Fairy Baby, in Defense Position!

Fairy Baby Stats: 500 Attack, 500 Defense.

Aki: Then I activate the magic card, Sealing Swords of Light. My opponent cannot attack in his next 3 turns.
