23. Duel at Midnight! Battle for Dark Palladin!

Nikka is having a dream. She is in a dark room, full of people. A cloathed person approaches her, and hand her a card. She takes it.

Nikka: Dark Palladin?

The person nods.

Nikka is woken up by her window being smashed. A big disguised person is in her room.

Nikka: WHO ARE YOU?!

The person starts taking out drawers and looking everywhere.

Nikka: HEY!

The person takes out a drawer and there's Nikka's deck.

Nikka: LEAVE IT THERE! I'LL CALL THE POLICE!

The person takes Dark Palladin out and jumps out the window.

Nikka hurries out of the bed and takes her Duel Disk. Then she goes over to the broken window and throws it towards the thief. He's hit in the head and faints. Nikka hurries outside.

Nikka: Who are you?

Person: Ugh...gh...

Nikka approaches him.

Nikka: I'll take this back.

Person: This.....This belongs to us.

Nikka takes it from his hand.

Nikka: "Us"?

Person: We gave it to you. *stands up* You will return it.

The person sets his duel disk and takes off his cloack.

Mahai: DUEL!

Nikka picks up her duel disk.

Nikka: Fine. DUEL! I'll take the first move. Draw. I summon Swordlady!

Swordlady's Stats: 1200 Attack, 1000 Defense

Nikka: I equip it with Crown of Earis. Its attack goes up by 400.

Swordlady's New Stats: 1600 Attack, 1000 Defense

Nikka: Turn end.

Mahai: Draw! I summon Shadow Eye!

Shadow Eye's Stats: 1300 Attack, 1100 Defense

Mahai: Then I activate the Magic Card: Magical Eye Outburst! It summons every Eye monster from my hand. I have 1. Come out, Eye Devil! The monster summoned this way will halve their attack and defense.

Eye Devil's Stats: 2000 Attack, 1500 Defense

Mahai: Eye Devil, attack Swordlady!

It is destroyed, and Nikka's Life falls to 3600.

Nikka: Swordlady's effect activates. It special summons a Swordman.

Swordman's Stats: 1200 Attack, 1000 Defense

Mahai: Useless. Eye Devil can absorb an eye monster on my field to attack again.

Shadow Eye is absorbed.

Mahai: Eye Devil, attack that excuse of a monster.

Swordman is destroyed and Nikka's Life falls to 2800.

Nikka: I activate Swordlady and Swordman's effects. When they are both resting in the graveyard, I can unconditionally summon Lord of Earis.

Lord of Earis: 2100 Attack, 2100 Defense

Mahai: Turn end, for now.

Nikka: Draw. I've got you now. Lord of Earis has the higher attack. Attack!
