A 8 year old Evrim is dueling a classmate at school.

Evrim: Draw! I sacrifice Spin Master to summon Spin Lord!

Spin Lord's Stats: 1700 Attack, 1000 Defense

Evrim: Spin Lord's effect activates! By paying 500 Life Points, it deals 1000 direct damage to my opponent. And you have exactly 1000 left.

Evrim's Life hit 0.

Evrim: What?

Kid: Your Life was at 350. It took you down when you activated that effect.

Evrim: Oh... Didn't think about that.

Ryo was watching on the sidelines, and then walks up to Evrim.

Evrim: Big brother? What are you doing here?

Ryo: I came to get you.

Evrim: But I don't get to go home till 12. And say, big brother, shouldn't go home at 14?

Ryo: I didn't go today.

Evrim: I can't leave though. I'd be skipping class.

Ryo: Show me the teacher's office. I'll talk to her.

Evrim: This way.

Evrim leads Ryo to the teacher's office. Ryo goes in while he waits outside. Waku walks by.

Waku: Evrim? Why are you outside the teacher's office? Did you get in trouble again? Are your parents in there?

Evrim: No. Big brother came.

Waku: Why?

Evrim: I don't know. He wants to take me home though.

Waku: Oh.... Why?

Evrim: I don't know. I told you.

Waku: Sorry.

Ryo walks out.

Ryo: Come, we're going home.

Evrim: Does my teacher let me?

Ryo: Yeah.

Evrim: What did you tell her?

Ryo: That you have a doctor's appointment. Now come.

Evrim: Okay. Bye Waku!

Waku: Bye-bye!

Evrim and Ryo go to the bus station and wait.

Evrim: Why did you take me home? And how come you didn't go to school either? Mom and dad will be upset.

Ryo: Assuming you won't tell them, they won't find out. And you won't, right?

Evrim: Hmm.... Tell me why you took me away and I'll think about it.

Ryo: I saw that duel of yours. Horrible. Losing because of your own stupidity.

Evrim: Sorry, big brother.

Ryo: You need to master this game, Evrim.

Evrim: BUT WHY?! Why do you want me so bad to be good at this?

Ryo: I need you with us. I need someone there that I know I can 100% trust. But you need to be a good duelist for that.
