7. Round 1-B! The Gargoyles!

Host: We will now gladly welcome Sylvian and Aki, for Round 1 B.

Aki: Are you ready?

Sylvian: Of course.

Aki/Sylvian: DUEL!

Waku: Good luck you guys!

Sylvian: I'll go first. Draw! I summon Sword Angel, in defense position.

Sword Angel's Stats: 1500 Attack, 500 Defense

Sylvian: I set one card, and end my turn.

Aki: Draw! I summon Feriah, Fairy Protector of The Forest, in attack position.

Feriah's Stats: 1700 Attack, 1600 Defense.

Aki: Feriah, attack Sword Angel!

Sword Angel is destroyed.

Sylvian: Reverse card open: Angel's Gain! If my monster was defeated by a monster stronger than it by 1000 or more, I gain half of the attacking monster's Attack as Life Points. Half of 1700 is 850. I gain that much Life Points.

Sylvian's Life Points rise up to 4850.

Aki: Tsk... I set a card. Turn end.

Sylvian: DRAW! I activate the card: Pot of Greed! I draw 2 cards. Magic card activate: Reload! I send all the cards in my hand to the cemetary, in order to draw the same amount of cards.

Sylvian discards his hand and draws as many cards.

Sylvian: It's here! I summon Winged Angel, in attack position.

Winged Angel's Stats: 1600 Attack, 1500 Defense

Sylvian: And I equip it with Heaven Wings. An Angel monster equiped with this card cannot be attacked by non-Angel monsters, as long as I pay 100 Life Points per each turn this is kept active.

Aki: I predicted that. Reverse trap open: Mystical Space Typhoon! I destroy Heaven Wings.

Sylvian: Don't get ahead of yourself. Magic Card: Cemetary Draw! I can draw the last card sent to the cemetary, by giving up 700 Life Points.

Sylvian draws back Heaven Wings, and his Life falls to 4150.

Sylvian: And I equip Winged Angel with Heaven Wings once more.

Evrim: Wow...

Sylvian: Turn end.

Sylvian's Life falls to 4050 because of Heaven Wing's effect.

Aki: Draw. Yes! I sacrifice Feriah to summon Angel of the Sea!

Angel of the Sea's Stats: 1900 Attack, 1700 Defense.

Sylvian: You can't attack me with that.

Aki: I know, which is why I activate the magic card: Switch! I can send a monster on my field to the cemetary, and special summon a monster of the same level. Angel of the Sea's Level is 5, so I special summon Fairy Angel!

Fairy Angel's Stats: 2000 Attack, 2000 Defense.

Waku: She did it. She summoned an Angel.

Evrim: Last time she succesfully did that, Sylvian had Resistence to counter it. Does he now?

Aki: Fairy Angel, attack Winged Angel!

Winged Angel is destroyed. Sylvian's Life falls to 3650.

Waku: Apparently he doesn't.

Sylvian: Tsk....

Aki: Turn end.

Sylvian: Draw.... I activate the continous magic: Hidden Power G. Turn end.
