There were a thousand words
I wished to say.
But I lose my tongue
every time you looked my way.

how I appreciate your eyes,
the ones I wish
I could lose myself into,
when I glance at you every time.
I would have said
how much you made me smile
when you curve your lips
every once in a while.

that could lull me to sleep,
which is why I probably

I wish I could say
all these thoughts left unsaid.
But you don't feel the same way as I do --
so here's to the thousand words about you that I've kept inside my head.
