You bursted in like a storm,
where your winds blew me.
I told myself to stay away
but your eyes,
they were all I could see.I quietly chanted:
Stop staring.
Stop staring.
But I wasn't listening.
You were there and I was drowning,
dreaming of things
that I don't imagine.
You were waves and I was silently
c r a s h i n g,
f a l l i n g,
b u r n i n g.You were my storm
and I was starting to lose it all.
You pulled me apart,
and pieced me again,
yet I still edged the fall.
But I was the drizzle to your rain.
The rumble in your roar.
Nothing to your storm.
I was nothing to you at all.I saw you coming.
You were all I could see.
But to you I am nothing,
and you never saw me.
