When I thought I'd never
see love once again,
you entered the room
and I loved you since then.
Your smile was the one
that lit up my world,
and everything you say
became lovely words.
I wanted to drown
in your deep, brown eyes;
the ones I lock myself into
as time soon pass by.
But then I realized you
saw me just as a friend,
and now all I want
is this feeling to end.
I bet the girl you talk about
is lovelier than me,
for she's the kind of girl
you chose that I won't ever be.
